The first one sent had a problem within an hour or two, but the one you sent to replace it is doing as it should...working fine. It was a reconditioned so I don't know if that makes a difference but for the money I hope it keeps on, keepin on!

I needed an upgrade from a 30 pint dehumidifier for our large (>2000 sqft) unfinished basement. This unit from LG really pulls out the moisture. It does not seem to be abnormally loud when compared to other units I have had, although I do not use it in a living area. Built in hygrometer can be off by as much as 10 points when compared to another hand held unit nearby. That said, the unit seems to cycle on and off as it should and keeps the under 50% humidity I am looking for. I hooked it into a condensate pump with a garden hose easily and with no leaks. No performance issues so far and after a month of use, I would recommend it. It is a nice looking unit as well.

Was very excited to receive this product but am very disappointed with it. It worked great for a couple weeks but then it stopped sensing when it was full and covered our furnace room floor in an inch of water.

This dehumidifier is stylish, moderately quiet, and very effective. On a setting of 50%, I empty the large water container daily. Its capacity is approximately 3x that of my former dehumidifier. My only complaint is with the sensor, as the float sensor originally prematurely signaled the bucket was full when it was not. I glued a thin strip of foam to the sensor to make it larger, and now it performs flawlessly. Definitely a good buy for the price and appearance.

Great price for the quality of the product. I priced new ones at places like Walmart and they were double the price. The product has a low humming noise, but that's to be expected. I can really tell the difference in the humidity of the basement. Having to empty the container out every few days, so it's definitely doing the job!

Our basement is damp and I can really see a difference after putting this product in use. Before I hooked up hose for drainage i was emptying the bucket twice a day. I recommend this product for everyone with a damp basement.

We were pleased with the performance of this product. It did a great job removing moisture from our house. It is a bit noisy, but I think all dehumidifiers are noisy, so that was no surprise. The collection bin was easy to remove and empty and large enough so that it didn't have to be emptied too often. I am very glad I bought this!

Plugged it in just after it got here and it has been working since. relly seems to pull out the moisture.

We recently purchased this dehumidifier after seeing the same unit at the local hardware store for much more. Having never owned a dehumidifier, I can't compare it to others....but I do know that it pulls a LOT of moisture from our air. We purchased for the purpose of drying out a leaky area of our house (bad split-faced block, don't get me started) and it does just that. Yes, it's loud....similar to a loud fan or quiet air conditioner. We keep ours in our bedroom near the source of our leak, and don't have any trouble sleeping with it while it runs. It does warm our room a few degrees, but it also serves to cool our house with less humidity. Overall I'm very pleased with the unit and would recommend to others.

The dehumidifier does not work. I won't purchase refurbished products again.

Thin plastic tabs on water bucket were not strong enough to lift the bucket and broke off. Makes it difficult to empty

I would buy this dehumidifier again. It's been running now for a few weeks and is quiet. My only complaint is that the water reservoir has a handle to carry it with to empty but the instructions warn you not to carry the reservoir when full of water or the handle will break off! You have to lift and carry it from underneath the container!

This dehumidifier is the second I've ever bought, the first one was a different brand and also from overstock (it was great too) but I gave it away to a family member when I moved a while back. This LG dehumidifier is a nice size, holds a lot. Sleek and stylish, excellent quality and could not tell it was a refurbished item at all!

We are very pleased with the LG Dehumidifier we recently purchased. It works great and not nearly so loud as the one we replaced. I plan to order another for our cabin. The only draw back was that I did not receive the hose attachment so we can run it direcly with a hose to the drain. I am waiting for assistance in this regard. I would recommend this dehumidifier, and I am sure the missing part is just an oversight.
