I was really hoping for more out of this ac I almost feel like it doesn't have enough freon.. Or the space I am trying to cool is just too big but my buddy had a ac window unit in college that seemed to cool alot more than it was spec'd for I was hoping for the same here but to no avail.Read More
This unit generates more heat through the big vent going to the window than the cooling put out. It negates itself. The vent is hot to the touch. Only buy this unit if you can levitate it to the window and do not have to extend the vent AT ALL. The vent on this unit would make an excellent radiator in the winter....the temperature in my small room has actually increased steadily since plugging it in tonight. Many complaints about this same problem on Home Depot reviews. Can't say enough good about Overstock.com. They are always pleasant and efficient. The unit arrived promptly and their customer service can't be beat, but this unit is a hot disappointment. Read lots of reviews before considering this one.Read More

I purchased 3 of these PACs for our bedrooms, and they have been performing very well. One of the three PACs occaisonally vibrates very loudly unless you put pressure on the right side - we've rigged several interesting contraptions from ropes and balls to apply this pressure through the night. I was disappointed that the PACs were dirty when they arrived. I recognize that they were refurbished, but having to clean them myself was a bad first impression on what has otherwise been a pleasant experience with this purchase.Read More
the unit arrived quickly.the 1st time i used it(also the only time) there is an icredible mildew odor.not so convenient to use.all in all worth the money.Read More
This air conditioning unit was the answer to cooling my upstairs. I even invested in a much larger central air unit that did not cool my upstairs. This unit cools my entire upstairs and is very energy efficient. It was a great buy also. I highly recommend this to others.Read More
Took a while to actually receive the product, but once installed, I have no complaints. Works adequately. Not too noisy.Read More
