I had been delaying purchasing washer and dryer pedestals. I felt the cost could not justify my purchase. I was delighted to find these refurbished models at overstock.com. When they came there was no damage to be found. I did have to request instructions and mounting hardware, however customer service at overstock.com was extremely helpful and got the parts I needed to me in no time at all. The new elevation of the washer and dryer and the storage space underneath are awesome. Standing up to switch clothes from washer to dryer is much easier than stooping. I can't believe I waited so long to make this purchase. Now I know why people pay twice as much for new ones, even though the smart shopper can buy refurbished ones for 1/2 the price and enjoy them just as much. WHAT A DEAL!!!

Picked these up to match our new LG washer/dryer set. One drawer was perfectly repainted and looked new. The other had a small vertical crease in the front but not easy to see; it also had been repainted white since i could see the faint red color when I turned the drawer over. The rubber feet looked used but still in good shape. Our washer fit perfectly, but the dryer needed the clips provided so it could be secured by screws. The back of the dryer was shorter so the back clips didn't quite fit but we made them work. You have to retract the feet on both W&D so they fit on the attachments on the top of the drawers. Overall, pedestals shipped fast, were priced fairly and look great with our new W&D!

We purchased these to go with our new LG washer and dryer. The local retail store price was nearly *** more per stand. If these were refurbished, I don't know what was wrong with them. They arrived in perfect condition. The delivery/installation crew that delivered our washer and dryer initially balked at installing the stands. They said something like "we aren't allowed if you didn't buy them at the store." But my husband gave them *** and they set them up. There is a definite trick to attaching the stands, so I'm not sure I would have felt comfortable doing it myself. I am happy with the stands and would highly recommend them.

We ordered a pair. Both came damaged. Overstock was good with return call tags. We would like to purchase them again but afraid of the hassle if they arrived damaged again.

Much like the other reviews I read before I ordered, this product really does come damaged. The substandard packaging is likely the cause, but who knows? Perhaps it was damaged during shipping, or perhaps it left the refurbished warehouse that way. Due to the bulky size of the product, I've decided to go ahead and use it, try to pry out the buckled area and purchase some appliance paint to repair the damaged section, rather than try to return it. Be prepared that at $!@#, you are likely going to receive a subpar product. It's a roll of the dice, apparently.

Adding this under the Washer/Dryer Combo unit elevates the appliance to more comfortable level and provides much needed storage in smaller space (condominium). I was able to grab this as a refurbished item for about half the cost of a new pedestal, so it was well worth it. Drawer slides easily and provides a surprising amount of storage space. I would highly recommend this product both for extra storage and the added height it provides.

Refurbished Dryer pedestal was a great value but clearly was refurbished since it had a dent and chip on the front where the drawer opens. I can live with that given the value of the price (***), however, I really thought it would be like "brand new".

I bought a new LG washer when my Maytag broke. I didn't realize I wouldn't be able to use my Maytag pedestal with my LG washer. So the washer came and we put it on the floor. Well after one day of squatting to load and unload the washer I went online to buy a compatible pedestal. Refurbished was a good deal and the reviews were favorable. Mine was dented on the back and the bottom. This wasn't a big deal cosmetically as it didn't show but some of the screw holes didn't line up; that may be why. But we got 80% of the screws in which means the washer isn't going anywhere. And you will need some help and some patience getting your washer on this pedestal. Better yet, be sure to buy them at the same time and let the installers do it. The biggest problem is that unlike my Maytag pedestal, this one is not tall enough to hold a regular size spray bottle or a medium bottle of detergent standing upright. I did not want to lay them down so now they are on the floor instead in the drawer of my pedestal. My consolation is I love the LG washer, although I couldn't give this product a high rating.

This is refurbished? It arrived and looked brand new! Very happy with the purchase and put our washer up to a level so that we don't have to bend over and drag out wet clothes anymore. The drawer I've found of no use so far, except to hold the washer manual, but maybe something will fit in there. Definitely recommend over buying a 'new' one!

As mentioned, I ordered two of these pedestals. One was received in perfect condition. The second was badly damaged - it was actually sent to us that way because the box was not damaged at all. When I contacted overstock.com about the problem, they quickly informed me that they were out of stock, so they refunded my money for the damaged pedestal. Wonderful customer service! Only problem was that I had to go elsewhere and spend more money to purchase another one.

I bought two pedestals. Overall I am pleased with my purchase. One of the pedestals looks and functions as if it were brand new. The other pedestal is definitely refurbished. I can tell that it used to be red in color and that it was repainted evidenced by some overspray that is noticeable inside the unit when the drawer is pulled out. I'm ok with that. The color on the outside of both pedestals matches the factory white of my machines perfectly.
