My cousin was the victim of the Sandy Storm and it was really cold in NJ. Their whole A/C and Heater system was not working and desperately needed the heater, but was not able to locate one from any local store and he didn't have internet. So I got him this Lg portable AC and Heater and he is really happy and sleep well at night. Hope everyone is recovering back from the disaster.

This piece of cooling machine lives up to its name. SInce i got it, my wife does not complain anymore. It is stylish, easy to set up and cools the room effectively. It is also quiet, unlike the wall air conditioner in my apartment which is less functional. It is a GREAT BUY!

The air conditioner arrived very fast. This air conditioner is in very good condition just good as new. Really great unit for this price.

After I had to clean up bukets of water off my wood floors and dry out my expensive oriental rug, I called Overstock. They referred me to the distributer. I spoke to them about a refund of this unit that was so clearly defective and dangerous. the distributer was rude and condensending. I vowed to never purchase a lage purchase from overstock again. However when I spoke to overstock again about the issue with the unit and the meaness of the distributer,the had my back. They were kind and took care of the issue. I will work with overstock again based on the incredible customer service. But I won't buy this appliance again.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. The unit was clumsy to install. But it really fell apart when water would come gushing out the side of the body of the unit and ruined my floors. The area designated for drainage did not drain and the unit did not turn itself off when tit was full of water like it stated in the manual.
• How accurate was the on site description of the product? Even if the item is refurbished it should have made it thru one summers worth of heat before breaking down.

This is a VERY nice and functional unit. It is slimmer than most and stylish....if any a/c unit can be described as stylish. The only point which should be made is the instruction manual Leaves a little to be desired...there is a 6ft plastic condensation hose which I am still not sure is required or not...call LG customer service for explanation. I remain uncertain if it is needed but I attached it to the unit anyways...the unit sits on 4 rolling feet, one was broken off when it arrived and replaced immediately by Overstock. Overall I really love this unit and find it an EXCEPTIONAL bargain as compared to other units..

Too loud, as in my wife and I have to yell over it loud. Cools floor okay, but heat is not that bad yet. Once August hits I'll update this. Right now kind of regretting buying it, but price was too tempting.
