LG 11,500 BTU Through-wall Air Conditioner (Refurbished)

I recieved the unit in a timely manner undamaged, but the remote was not included. After just one conversation with customer service, a remote was sent via UPS no questions asked. I am very pleased with the unit, it is not too loud and blows very cold air almost right away. There is some noise from the fan rubbing inside the unit, but with a little fine adjusting and moving the unit around in the sleeve this problem too, is fixable.

Came in a well packaged box about a week after my order (standard delivery). Air conditioner keeps my entire apartment very cool. I have to even get a blanket to warm up sometimes. I definitely recommend this product.

IMPORTANT: The measurements on the site are incorrect. The unit is smaller and will fit a sleeve that is 24 3/4 in Wide x 15 in H. The depth can vary. My sleeve is 14in deep and the unit sticks out about 6 in, but it doesn't look terrible. I knew for a fact this model would fit because before ordering this AC from Overstock I had purchased a new one (same model just not refurbished) from a local retailer. With tax it came out to over $600, so Overstock's price is a fantastic deal. Obviously I returned the new one. I have installed the unit and tested it sevaral times and the cold air coming out of the unit has been between 45 and 50 degrees F. It hasn't been all that hot yet since I got it but I am happy with it's performance. I am using it in a 550 sq ft studio apt. I could tell that the unit had been serviced, but it was only cosmetic and in areas that are not visible when the unit is installed. Overall I am very happy.
