As good as it should be for the price!
I almost gave the knife 4 stars on account of the length of the blade. At 7-inches it’s an inch short of its average steel counterpart. So far this hasn’t been an issue. I’ve only had to cut something longer than the blade once so far and it’s so sharp it really didn’t matter. The amount you have to push and pull the blade is minimal. I can’t comment on the durability of the blade since I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks. Apparently it should stay sharp for 3-5 years and if it dulls you can mail it back to Kyocera for FREE sharpening. You’ll have to ask them about that though. You can try and sharpen it yourself but it’s almost as hard as diamond and serrated (not easy to see in the picture but it is) so could be a struggle. I was worried about spending so much money on a knife but so far I haven’t been disappointed. Definitely recommended if you can afford it!

Versatile and high quality ceramic knife
This serrated ceramic knife has an excellent edge and is a length that makes it ideal for almost anything. It is serrated on one side/edge of the knife rather than along the whole bottom cutting edge. That serrated edge is very fine so you have to look closely to know it is there,but it works extremely well. Because it is so fine, we have been using it for chopping as well the usual serrated knife jobs. The white ceramic of the blade is attractive, but have had a spot or two of discoloration that does not come out easily due to contact with a metal knife. To me, not a big deal. Overall, I am very pleased with this knife and would recommend it to anyone who values a quality tool with a sharp, sturdy edge.
