Came to us broken in the box and missing parts. It is mostly plastic and looked like it would not hold up to 1 use. We returned it for a credit and bought a brevel juicer that we love!Read More
After reading reviews, I chose this Kuvings Juice Extractor and it was a champion. Super cute orange, very powerful - more powerful than the Breville juicer I had bought my boyfriend a few weeks earlier. When you turn it off, it sounds like a jet plane landing - it takes its juicing VERY seriously. Problem, though, is the pastic clamp that holds the top juicer part to the machine is a bit wimpy. While we're very careful to make sure the bowl is in place before locking the clamps down, the clamps themselves can't seem to take the pressure when you're juicing heavier items (even if the items are cut into sections). One clamp simply began to disintegrate after about 3 weeks of use. It didn't break - it just crumbled. Overstock was out of stock when I asked for a possible replacement. They've offered to refund completely or give me a percentage off if I choose to go to Kuvings to see if I can get a replacement clamp. (Overstock rocks in my book.) This is such a great juicer otherwise, I'll try the Kuvings option first. I'll see what happens with Kuvings and will report back.Read More

got it as a gift. I have been using it for a month and am very satisfied with its performance. no problem from hard vegies like carrots to soft fruits like pears. the pulp is dry and the taste is great! good machine for me!Read More
While the machine is very attractive, it does not work well. The parts are on very loosely and when you're juicing...this is not good. And clean up, uck!...well there has to be something better out their, I've just got to bite the bullet and spend the money. This now sits in my basement, waiting for my next garage saleRead More
I bought the juicer for myself and my husband. I have to say that this product has been well worth the money. I have used it since December 23, 2010 and I am quite satisfied with it. Yes, the juicer is loud but since that is the worst of it, I'm happy. It is easy to assemble and disassemble. Easy to clean. I fill up the sink with hot soapy water and let is soak and come back after a while and rinse it clean. The screen is easy to clean with the large 'toothbrush' that is provided. This product is so easy to operate and so easy to do every day. I haven't missed a day yet. My goal for the coming new year is to not only improve my health, but lose my excess weight. This juicer has been a joy and I wil definately start using Overstock.com to do more of my shopping from now on. Everything was in the box. Nothing broken. This product is good quality and I am thrilled that there isn't one issue that I'm not happy with. I would definitely recommend this product for those who are looking for a good quality juicer but also one that is not expensive.Read More
I chosed this juicer due to excellent design and this juicer makes very delicious pulp-free juice. I have juiced orange, pineapple, apple, carrot, lemon, and ginger with it. The pulp is not powder-dry, but it extracts a good amount of juice. That is what appealed to me, this big-mouth juicer is more powerful. I drink fresh juice everyday. ^-^Read More
Toatally satisfied. This was my first time on Overstock.com and i wil be returning. I love my juicer.Read More
really what else can I say??! Besides the looks - which are really great -- very cute. It's also much easier to clean than I imagined -- I had owned a juicer a few years back that cost more the twice the amount of this one but hardly ever used it because it was such a pain to clean -- the Kuvings is super easy to clean and even comes with a little brush to clean the grate/blades.Read More
Easy to use, easy to clean - highly recommend. This is a really nice looking machine. WE are all very pleased with the value of this purchase.Read More

The manufacturer lists that it is able to handle vegetables and leafy foods. Reveiwes that I have read on the web all indicate it works just fine with them.
How to Use a Blender as a Juicer
Making smoothies and milkshakes is easy with the right blender to mix everything together into a smooth consistency. A juicer, on the other hand, separates juice from fruit and vegetables by squeezing it. If you want the pure vegetable or fruit juice of a vegetable or fruit, you will probably need to buy a juicer, such as an orange juicer, rather than a kitchen blender. For thicker smoothies and drinks that still contain fruit pulp, however, blenders will work well. Read on for tips on using your food blender as a juicer for a variety of fruits.

Broilers vs Roasting Pans
Broiling pans and roasting pans both have specific uses. While there are many similarities between them, they each specialize in different areas. Roasting pans are normally used to prepare larger cuts of meat because of the deeper shape, which allows the meat to cook in its own juices. Broilers have a shallow, slotted base. The shallow sides of the broiler allow the food to cook more quickly while the slotted bottom of the broiler allows drippings to drain into a pan underneath.

Best Ideas for a Cowboy Birthday Party
Plan the perfect cowboy birthday party for your little cowhands and their posse with a Western-themed party. With the right decorations, games and food, you can create a hoedown that your child and his or her friends will remember for years to come. Find cowboy party supplies and crafts for a colossal cowboy party, and don't forget to capture every moment with your camera. Invitations. Create cowboy party invitations that look like "wanted" posters using recycled brown cardstock paper. Print a black-and-white picture of the cowboy or cowgirl of honor in the center and use an old-style font or block lettering. Include the time and place for the round-up on the cowboy party invitations. Use fun phrases such as "howdy partner" and "saddle up for the showdown" for added laughs. Ask guests to come in their favorite cowboy attire, including rugged jeans, flannels and boots. Decorations. For cowboy party decorations, cover tables with red and white tablecloths. Display "wanted" posters of the birthday cowboy or cowgirl throughout the cowboy party room. Add balloons in colors of red, white and blue. Shape strands of rope into lassos and place them on the tables or hang them on chairs. Use bandanas or a Western-themed fabric for place mats. Create large cutouts of cacti, horses and cowboys for decorations. Bales of hay, stalks of corn and other items can add to the cowboy party decorations. Place bottles of water or juice boxes in a wheelbarrow filled with ice for refreshments. Dress up. Costumes and clothing can add to the cowboy birthday party theme. Because all guests may not know each other, give each guest a name tag cut to look like a sheriff's badge. Use silver cardstock cut into star shapes and attach the name tags with safety pins or tape. Provide guests with bandanas in a variety of colors. Give each guest a straw cowboy hat and a water pistol for an authentic cowboy look. Games. Though cowboys can be serious, there is nothing like having several fun games planned for even the roughest, toughest cowboy to enjoy. If you're holding a summer party, tell all cowboys and cowgirls to bring their swimsuit for a shoot-out using water pistols. Have a galloping contest; use brooms as pretend ponies and have races to see whose horse is the fastest. Old-fashioned potato-sack jumping contests are easy to assemble. Hold a boot toss contest: Have children toss bean bags, gold coins or other cowboy party supplies into an old pair of worn cowboy boots. Food. Create an old-fashioned homemade spread, complete with a cowboy party cake. Barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs or sloppy joes are always a favorite for little cowboys and cowgirls. Salsa and chips, beef jerky and even pulled pork sandwiches are additional ideas. Corn on the cob and cornbread are traditional cowboy staples. Create a cowboy party cake in the shape of a hat, pony or boot to continue the theme. Goodie bags. Thank each guest for coming by giving them a galvanized pail filled with cowboy party favors. Fill each pail with a small amount of straw or hay. Add trail mix, gold coins and licorice rope to each pail. Tie pieces of raffia or fabric for additional decoration to the pail's handle. For other cowboy party favors, consider purchasing small plastic harmonicas, sheriff badges and cowboy figurines. View All Crafts Back to Guides Directory View All Crafts
Best Vitamins for Fighting Fatigue
If you're feeling fatigued, your diet may be to blame. A lack of the proper vitamins can leave you tired, even after a good night's sleep. If you find yourself struggling to keep your energy up throughout the day, then you might consider adding vitamins and supplements to your daily routine. Adding vitamins and supplements to your diet can help you fight fatigue and feel more energized. Vitamin A. Vitamin A is an anti-stress vitamin. If your body can't deal with stress properly, you tire quickly. Vitamin A maintains the health of skin, plus the mucous membranes lining your digestive tract, bladder, mouth and lungs. Vitamin A also aids in the production of T cells, which improve your immune system. When your immune system is healthy, you feel more energized. In addition to supplements, you can get more vitamin A by consuming more eggs, spinach and mangos. Vitamin B. Vitamin B is best when taken in the form of a B complex, which includes folic acid, B6 and B12. Vitamin B helps regulate hormones and metabolism. Getting enough vitamin B helps your body efficiently process food and turn it into energy. Vitamin B can also improve your mood. Vitamin B is especially helpful in treating pre-menstrual fatigue and mood swings. B-complex vitamins and fish oil capsules can help your body get enough vitamin B. You can also find high levels of vitamin B in meat, lentils and potatoes. Beer is also a surprising source of vitamin B, though alcohol can limit the body's absorption of vitamins, so consume alcohol in moderation. Vitamin C. Vitamin C is crucial for maintaining your immune system and fighting viruses. Infections, even those unapparent to you, can cause fatigue as your body uses energy to fight them. Vitamin C is also helpful for iron absorption. Because iron deficiency, or "anemia", can result in fatigue, vitamin C is an important part of an energy-packed diet. Fruits and fruit juices are high in vitamin C, as are a wide range of vegetables. Vitamin C supplements are also a great way to get enough vitamin C. Vitamin E. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant, which means that it limits cell damage throughout the entire body. Vitamin E is also necessary for a healthy immune system. Supplements and multivitamins containing vitamin E can boost energy, and vitamin E can also be found in nuts, wheat germ, fruits and vegetables. NADH. NADH is a coenzyme. NADH aids in breaking down food and converting it into energy. If you're lacking NADH, fatigue is often a symptom. In addition to supplements, NADH can be found in fish, poultry and meat. Gingko Biloba. Gingko biloba is an extract from ginkgo leaves. Ginkgo biloba is often used to increase energy levels because it has been shown to increase blood flow in the body. Ginkgo biloba is also an antioxidant. You can find ginkgo biloba supplements or purchase teas and other drinks and specialty foods that are infused with the plant.
