Like many others, I thought this brewed some of the best coffee I've had. Then the coffee maker came toward the end of its warranty... I took in for repair as instructed by Krups, and got it back in worse condition than before. I contacted the repair center, and the best they could offer is there is not much they can do about this product. I called Krups to ask what I could do about this, and they said to just keep taking it back to the same place. If you don't mind blowing a couple hundred dollars for a year of good coffee, this is the way to go; if you're like most and expect a little reliability and customer service for this kind of money, look elsewhere.
So far, this Krups grind & brew coffee maker has surpassed my expectations! I bought the extended warranty just in case it "shoots craps", but hopefully it won't! My last 2 grind & brew coffee makers were Cuisinart and they only lasted 1 year each and had to be replaced. TIP: Always purchase the extended warranty!

I bought this for my husband about 3 years ago and have not had a problem until today. The water will no longer stay in the well. It goes thru the bottom all over the counter. But while it was working it was WONDERFUL You could use beans and grind or already ground as it would work with either and the coffee was very good. Over all I would buy this again and after I give Krups a shot at fixing this if they can't I am strongly thinking about getting another one.
I've had this for about three weeks and really love it. It makes a great cup of coffee. I wish the carafe was more than 10 cups. I am concerned about the reviews of this product that it is not very reliable so I purchased the extended warranty. So far so good!
