The Krups KB7207 1000 watt blender works well for most items. It does not like frozen fruits and can slow down or pulse if the consistency is too heavy. I expected more power based on other commercial blenders I have used. Adding more liquid helps. I was surprised at the intricacy of taking the blender apart; however, once apart, it is easy to clean thoroughly. Because of its construction, I had to get used to what seemed to be loose where the blender seats on the motor, but is actually very secure. I would recommend the blender for general kitchen use, but am disappointed in the way it handles components for smoothies, which for me, includes frozen fruits, juice and fresh fruits.

I recently purchased this Krups KB7207 1,000-watt 5-speed Blender, ordered it roughly 3.5 weeks ago. I've used the blender to prepare Pina Colads for some dinner guests, twice. This Blender did the job, however, I'm not sure why there's an Ice Crusher feature on it, since it didn't do much more than bump the ice around without actually grinding the cubes. ??? At any rate, everyone seemed pleased with the results of the evening, so I'm guessing it done its job. :-) The clean-up is a different story. It was easy once I figured-out how to disassemble the unit. I'm not sure whether or not I would purchase it again for myself, but I would recommend it to a friend in need of a large capacity Blender.

I bought this to keep at my office to make smoothies. I have a second one at my home for smoothies there. I like it most because it is quiter than other blenders. Not that it is quiet mind you, but it is quieter than others. I has good power and takes care of ice and frozen fruit pretty well. It has proved it was worth it to spend a bit more in this case. I see some blenders for over $200 claiming the world. I just don't know about those, but I do feel this Krups was woth the money.

This is a great blender. Powerfull, smooth & quiet. Great for our morning concoction protien drink. We made some humace too. Blends everything beautifully. The ice crush mode is very cool! This blender can handle anything!

This blender is outstanding. It is a good looking piece of equipment to compliment any modern kitchen, it has a wide base pitcher that makes blending almost anything easy (especially soups), it has an ice crush function that works very well, and it is so much quieter than other blenders I've used.For this price, I cannot recommend it enough.

Blender arrived promptly and in good condition. Operates quietly when compared to other brands.Ice crush feature a real plus. Pulsing cycle does the job without too much splatter.Very slow feature is fast enough to mix dry Ingredients without a lot of splatter. Product has attractive appearance on counter top and is easy to clean. I use it every day and am very pleased with its operation.

I'm happy so far, I have used my blender every morning for a month, it's quiet and works great.

I recently purchased this blender and was very disappointed. I thought with a 1,000 watts it would be faster than the typical blender in preparing smoothies and milk shakes. It's very slow and you will have nurse it along as you add incredients. Lastly, I'm not sure if it comes in colors (there is no metntion) but the pictures appear to have black accents (which is what I wanted) when in fact it is grey.

At last! A quality QUIET blender. Love it so far...

For the money a good value. We were looking at getting a Blend Tec for $400, but couldn't afford it. We went with this model because it's 1000 watts of power. We blend daily drinks and need the power to crush frozen fruit. this blender does an excellent job and we haven't had anything it couldn't handle so far.

Totally worth every dime. This blender leaves no chunks and is very quiet compared to others. It is extremely durable and looks great too.

I haven't used this blender very much yet, so I can't give it a 5 star rating, But from its performance so far, it seems to be a superior product. It took me some time to figure out how to reassemble all the parts. But once I did, I loved the simplicity of it. Every piece clicks into place. No more screw on bases.I am very hard on blenders, but this one promises to be worth the money.

My wife and I love the blender. The only downside is the attention to detail needed to clean the product afterward. The plastic base has many crevices and the water takes time to dry in those difficult to reach areas.All-in-all a very good blender, nonetheless.

Great value for the money. Cheapest 1000W blender I could find. Is a champ at drinks, soups, recipes. Have to be careful on the volume for smoothies. Can't do 3/4 or full blender loads. Frozen fruits lock it up. Half full or less, it is great.

What a great blender, powers through ice, and isn't as noisy as others I've owned.
