An absolutely beautiful machine. Coffee is fabulous; the machine is very easy to program and if needed to un-program. This item arrived within days from Overstock and in perfect condition. A wonderful coffee maker and great coffee. We've owned a Krups coffee maker for years, and since we were thrilled with our last Krups we realize that Krups is the only coffee maker for us. Overstock.com saved us quite a bit of money, so we'll stick with Overstock for all future purchases.

This is my THIRD Krups coffee maker. The last two lasted many years without problems at all. The second one still works after many years but I wanted one with a thermos pot and stainless to match other items in my kitchen at present. This product is a very trusted name and has never let us down. I was so worried that one of these times I would get a disappointment when I had to replace an exhausted Krups coffee machine but NO> they get better everytime! My husband and I Love our new Krups coffee machine. The coffee is wonderful and nice and hot and the thermos pot keeps it hot and fresh for many hours to enjoy throughout the day. The machine is easy to understand as to programming and it has a lovely appearance as to matching kitchens with chrome and black or even white and black accessories. A Wonderful purchase. This product is a very trusted name in our home and has never let us down. I travel with my Krups machine so I know I will always have a wonderful pot of coffee no matter where I am. Go with a Krups and you won't be sorry.

A good coffee maker, however it is not user friendly. To pour out all the coffee in the carafe means taking off the lid and pouring out the last of the coffee and some always spills, poor design. Also I wish it made 12 cups not 10. Coffee gets cold too quickly when sitting for any length of time.

Am a Krup coffee maker fan. Love this coffee machine since I sip coffee all morning; the vacuum pot keeps my coffee fresh tasting. Would have given this product a 5 star rating but it has one negative--must use paper filters! I prefer the permanent gold tone filter. Ordered the generic #4 (HIC) from Overstock, but it did not fit this model. The generic was too tall.

Temperature of freshly brewed coffee is lukewarm, Not Warm. Not Hot. 10 Cup capacity is really 5 since a Krup's cup is 6 ounces. Quality of construction and coffee taste were excellent. However, heating of coffee after brewing is not acceptable.

Very pleased with this coffee maker. Ease in poring: no more twisting the top like our old Krups. This product was delivered within three days of my order and we are in a rural area in the Northeast.

I just received this a few days ago. It replaced my Cuisinart pot after the second( replacement) carafe broke. Love the stainless thermal carafe! My only comment is that I am concerned about the coffee cooling down once it is brewed if it sits for more than 20 minutes. It has no base heater. The manufacturer recommends heating the carafe with hot water beforehand. Not so easy for our household. Our hot water takes forever to come up . Other than that; it is so stylish and the stainless look goes well with newer kitchen appliances. It also has the Krups name; which I associate with quality as well. If it lasts as long as my other one did; I'd cetainly buy it again! The coffee flavor is really good. I am picky about that for sure!

I have a krups aroma coffee pot that I have been using for 9 years everyday. Because it was 9 I didn't want to be without a coffee pot . I have been using my new pot and it is just as wonderful as my old one. Thank you overstock

This compact coffee maker was to replace an expensive Bunn that always seemed to have a problem. Our new Krups makes wonderful coffee and keeps it hot without using a base warmer (those invariably alter the taste of coffee). This is the best thermos carafe we have yet found. IMPORTANT: read the directions to this machine before you get frustrated because you don't understand how the carafe top locks or pours. My husband and I both think this was a smart choice --- at a considerably lower price than some of those 'gourmet' jobbers!

great coffee and beautiful addition to my kitchen too

I had a Krups with thermal carafe for 10 years before I finally wore that one out. I was really hoping to find the same model to replace it with but Krups has discontinued that model. I found this one and I'm happy so far. The only problem I had was I kept getting a small air bubble in the indicator tube making it difficult to know exactly how much water I put in. I resolved that by tipping the coffee maker back so that the bubble worked its way out. Since then no more bubble and if it happens again I know what to do. Nice sturdy unit and the carafe keeps the coffee hot long enough for me.

I did not order this from Overstock.I purchased it at a retail store.paid $100.00,Its extremely heavy when pouring and drips,the lid is very difficult to screw and stay on and the whole unit broke after 3-months.Wish I would have saved my receipt.Perhaps I just got a dud.

Have owned this model for six years, and could not be happier with the value. I have needed only to replace the water filter to keep the coffeemaker working, and intend to replace soon only because I want something new. BTW-- Krups really is a great coffee brand for those who want a solid product at a great price...

I bought the Krups Coffee Maker because I liked the way it looked along with the stainless pot and the features. The first one I had lasted about one year before it stopped working. The stainless steel started peeling off the buttons and the timing device totally failed. The coffee maker would not turn off. Krups replaced it for me and the new one is just over a year old and has once again stopped working. The timing switch seems to be the part that has failed again. It did make good cup of coffee while it worked - but for the money I expect it to last longer than a year. I used it once in the morning (using the automatic timer) and once in the evening - setting it to work manually. I am disappointed and although I still like the looks - will not purchase it again.
