I purchased the bed based on looks and reviews from other customers. I am so glad I did. It went together quickly (did it myself in about 20 minutes at 11:00 at night so I could go to sleep) as the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It is a sturdy, solid bed, more so than one I purchased a few years ago at a local store for nearly four times the price. The finish is shinier than I expected, and the color isn't quite black, but it isn't quite metallic, either. It is pleasing to the eye, and is neutral enough to be used in just about any style of decor. I would not hesitate to recommend this bed to anyone.

We bought this bed frame for a matterass that we already had. It was very easy to put together and it looks great in the room. It is is for our two-year-old son's big boy bed and we could not be happier. The frame is one of the few that I liked and did not look girly.

I was so impressed with the first bed I bought from overstock (a different queen size model) that I decided to order a bed on here for my 6 year old. Not as impressive as the other bed we ordered! Not very sturdy looking and it's noisy! It doesn't squeak, but makes a kind of "metal" sound when someone sits on it. It'll do for now, but as my toddler turns into a teenager we'll have to find another bed!

This frame was given to my son because he is a large size, and I felt like the extra feet in the middle of the side rails was good for more support. My son likes the frame, but says it is not as sturdy as I thought it would be. He likes the added feet. I like the design of the frame. It would do for boy or girl.

Bought this for our guest bedroom, after our son moved out and took his bed with him. Didn't want to spend a lot of money, but wanted to have a nice homey look. It is really good quality and I was not disappointed. Very similar to one sold at other stores, but the price was much better.

I purchased this bed for our guest room and was a bit disappointed at first that the bed did not come with a middle support bar (this is only a feature with the king size bed frame, as was stated in the assembly instructions), but it's still a very sturdy frame. This was not hard to put together (although it was helpful to have a second person at times), and the design is very versatile. I hope it's a bed frame we have for a while. Price is pretty great too!

When I made this purchase, I knew what to expect because I had bought a king-sized Kristen bed just like it. I could not have been more pleased with the first bed and the second was no less a pleasure. These beds look so much more expensive than they are. I love the way they go with almost any decor and take up very little extra space than having no headboard or footboard if you have limited space. Great buy!!

This is the second bed we ourchased from Overstock and am completely satisfied, parts were all there and relatively easy to set up. I highly recommend this product. The two that I ordered were the Kristin and the Austen and wish they were in both in stock when I ordered the first. Remember-you snooze you loose! Delivery was right on time as promised.

I bought this as a move up from a twin - I am SO glad I checked overstock.com, I found this same exact bed at a furniture store, but they wanted 2x the price!!! So far, the bed is very sturdy and quiet. I'm a student at a university, and it holds my weight (around 200lbs) just fine. I haven't heard any metal sounds that others are reporting. It is a solid black color with a high gloss finish, it goes very nice with all my other wood furniture. Best of all about this bed is that I can fit stuff under the bed, it allows 7.5 inches of clearance - just enough to fit all my shoe boxes, DVDs (on their side) and other small stuff underneath. Alot of other beds didn't have any, if at all, underbed storage space, which is why I chose the Kristin bed. I full recommend this bed to others, although I wouldn't not recommend it be used by anyone who would sit on or horse around on the footboard or headboard, they are more for decor than anything, I wouldn't trust anyone trying to sit on the rail without bending or scratching it.

This bed looks great in my son's room. We bought a home built in the 1880's and our son's modern looking platform bed did not look right. This one looks perfect under a leaded glass window and seems very sturdy. As the other reviewers said it is a little shiny but doesn't really take away from the look.

The bed was delivered in a timely manner. It was very light weight and easy to assemble. The sheen of the bed makes it look a bit like plastic instead of metal but nevertheless the bed is very beautiful. No complaints.

The bed arrived in a timely fashion. It was really well packaged, so the bed parts were in perfect condition and all the parts were included, which sometimes does not happen. It went together well, but I couldn't have done it by myself; I assisted my husband. It looks great in the room. I wanted a bed that didn't have a solid head or foot board, because the room is small. It looks even better than I thought it would.
