this was my first purchase on overstock and i am very pleased with this duvet cover. the fabric is silky but durable, and the yellow is a buttery one that complements the brown and white in the design. very happy!
I have been looking for a duvet cover for quite some time and being on a budget I was attracted to the Kristie Medallion set. I was very happy with it when I opened the box and it washed up beautifully. The colors are subtle so the teal one I ordered makes a soft statement for my room.
Washed beautifully the first two times. Excellent weight and sheen; good quality, shams and set is finished well. The color was more vibrant than I expected - thought it would be more of a stone-washed appearance or worn. I think it will wear well over time and get that softer tone or tea-dyed look I was hoping for.The color I purchased was honey and it arrived as a richer gold tone - cooler or not as deep an amber tone as honey, but not the color pictured. It was more like a brown mustard with cream added to it; like perfectly cooked pancakes. Warm, with a vibrant coffee accent. Will be washing this 30-40 times before I use it, but think it will be exactly what I hoped for. I'm sure you will be happy with yours.
Ordered this in the teal color and love it! Love the light blue/chocolate color combo--goes nicely with my chocolate bedroom walls. Fits perfectly on my king sized down comforter and fabric is very soft. It did have a strong chemical smell when first opened but one wash eliminated that. The fabric does seem a bit thin for a duvet but it does clearly state that it's only 300ct. Still it's a beautiful duvet, easy to care for and extremely comfortable.
