I bought the vessel sink and the matching waterfall round glass faucets about 3 years ago. I loved them, they are beautiful and I got so many complements about this unusual chick set. It's 3 years later I had to change the faucets and the Po-up drain. They all stopped working. Very costly to call plumber and replace every three years. I changed it to a simpler faucets ...:-)

Our water is so hard and leaves a terrible deposit around the opening and this sticks plus we have to keep scrubbing it off top and around the edges of the sink drain.

      Verified Purchase

If drains had beauty pageants this one would be the winner. I love this drain. It's heavy, high-quality, and looks very sharp. I bought the satin nickel version of this and paired it with the Vigo Laredo glass vessel sink and it looks great! I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with this purchase!

    • The diagram of the drain and all the parts and and their order of installation does not show the place for the mounting ring. Where does it go? .

      • Between the bowl and the counter top. Must have vessel type sink.

      • It goes between the vessel sink and the counter top. The sink rests on it.

      • I checked my drain. I actually didn't see a mounting ring there. My cabinet maker had specially requested a very high position drain/pipe, so I can get the most room for my vanity. I don't know if that was the reason that I don't see the mounting ring anywhere...

      • Between the bowl and the vessel sink.

    • I am ordering a rorund ceramic 17" vessel sink will this drain work? Thank you Susan

      • Hello cosmogirlskiing, it will depend on the drain hole size recommended for your sink. Please feel free to contact us again with any further questions. Thank you for shopping with us!

    • I have read the other questions and answers. Let me put it very simple for you. Does the stopper work by moving a lever rod or does it work by a push and click spring loaded arrangement? You choose not to show a profile view if it works by a lever rod. The lady asked if the neck is long enough to span and seal the bowls overflow diverter hole?

      • Hello daniel, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, the information you have requested is currently unavailable. You will receive an email notification once an answer is posted. Have a great day.

    • Is this pop up drain with or without overflow. Thank you, Diana

      • It is a pop up drain, Diana, but I do not know what "overflow" means in this context.

      • my sink doesn't have an overflow, I don't believe the new sinks oval or square, glass? have an overflow you can chat with a specialist on overstock for help

      • W/out.... make sure you get the correct one for your sink, do not rely on You need a PU11 w/overflow if that is what your sink requires... (I got mine from Amazon)

      • Sinks have overflows - that whole up by the top rim that drains if "filled to the brim". This does have a pushd-down stopper, if that's what you mean.

      • This is an important question, and I am glad you asked it. Drains with extra undesired holes, and those with no holes where you need them, are both real problems. Be very careful here. ALL sinks do NOT have overflows. It used to be rare to find one that didn't, but not any longer. The 'new' vessel sinks typically do not have overflows, as they are basically large bowls with only 1 hole (in the bottom) for the direct drain into the plumbing. Other sinks of all shapes and sizes do have need of a drain assembly WITH overflow (just as ktinadiva's related to the extra drain hole near the top that keeps the sink from overflowing the rim if their is too much water in the sink itself). Check your sink carefully as they are sometimes disguised to not detract from the appearance. If you get the wrong combination, you will have a mess on your hands...either you will end up with water all over the floor, or you will have 'trapped' water in sink overflow that can't go anywhere & will rapidly grow all sorts of stuff. The 'WITH overflow' drain assembly has an additional hole in the 'pipe' just below the plug, that needs to line up with the hidden opening where water comes through after entering that other hole at the sink rim. If you have a WITH overflow sink and a WITH overflow drain assembly, you still need to be careful to get those matching overflow openings lined up correctly when you do the installation. Good luck with your project.

    • I would like to know if this is the replacement drain that comes with the Legion Furniture Floral Glass Bowl Vessel Bathroom Sink item # 14535325. ? Thank you. Patti

      • Hello pdr123, the PU-10 works by a push and click spring. There is no lift rod. Push down to hold water, push down again to release the water. Please note that the PU-10 is not compatible with an overflow sink. An overflow sink requires an overflow drain such as the PU-11. We cannot guarantee that the Kraus drains are compatible with other manufacturer's sinks. These drains require a sink hole size of 1 3/4 inches. WE hope this helps. Thank you for shopping with us.

    • how is a popup drain different than a regular sink drain? can it be lowered to stop up the sink? i assume it is raised and lowered directly on the drain , not with a lever.

      • A pop up drain has a lever that can open and close the drain with the 'pop up', so that you can fill and drain the sink; a standard drain cannot do this. It is a lever that can attach to your faucet, if your faucet is meant for a pop up drain.

      • Actually, I called Kraus Support. This particular drain works by pushing down in the center of the drain to both open and close it. It does NOT require nor can it accomodate a lever mechanism. With this information, I am now ready to buy this product.
