The sink was not at all what I expected. It looked like a clear glass with integal design. Instead it is painted on the outside and the paint is unevenly applied with many bubbles which seem like they would chip off easily. There does not appear to be a protective coat over the paint which is rough and uneven and has a few chipped or clear spaces. I would not recommend this product.
I decided to go with a vessel sink for our new guest bathroom. Our local stores had nothing interesting in stock, so it was back to shopping online. After looking at hundreds of sinks, we settled on this one. Not only did Overstock have the best selection, but the best prices. This set cost about half of what other places were charging. It arrived in about two days - we couldn't believe how fast it arrived. And, it is absolutely gorgeous! The pictures can't do it justice. Showing the faucet to a fried, he held it up and said "Design a house around this." We plan to install it on an old dresser which my husband painted white and had a new mirror cut to fit the old frame for the "shabby chic" look. I think it's fun to mix the old with the new. While we haven't installed it yet, our "bathroom guys" are sure that it will work just fine. Can't wait. I have never been disappointed with any of my purchases from Overstock!
We love our new sink and its matching faucet! Our bath remodel has been made truly unique and we especially like that we were able to have this heavy item shipped to us without shipping charges! There was only one minor setback with its installation, and that was when we discovered that because it is a German faucet, we needed to change out our shut-off valves inorder to have the properly sized connections.

item arrived quickly and very well packed. Item is beautiful to look at but we have not had it installed as of now. I had hesitated to purchase anything like this on line but, after this arrived in such great condition and was exactly as described, I ordered more items from Overstock.com
