While the faucet is very nice to look at, it would be much better if it had a metal drain assembly instead of plastic. The plumber obviously did not realize he should not have used plumbers putty for the installation & the drain cracked after 3 months causing a flood of water.
I purchased three of these faucets. They look great, but they were very difficult to install because of the plastic drains. I had a Master Plumber install them for me and he used silicone. They've only been installed for a few weeks, but so far, none of them leak. I would only recommend them if you have a professional install them. They are beautiful.
We have not been able to completely install this faucet as the sink we are putting it in has an uneven drain to seat the faucet drain in. We need to find a foarm rubber insert as otherwise it will leak. Plumbers putty is not recommended for this piece as it is plastic. I wish that it was metal and then this would not be a problem. In fact all of the pieces that are installed under the sink are plastic and not metal.
