Are the hoses braided stainless steel or plastic?
I wanted a one-hole faucet that looked a bit traditional (not too sleek) for my new deep stainless steel sink. My contractor recommended Krauss, a company that I had never used before. The control is easy to use, but people who aren't familiar with it will ask which way is hot (forward) and which way is cold....

This is a large classy faucet. I found a soap dispenser that I think matches this better than the one offered. I have had this for four years now and it works as well as when I had it installed. It comes with nice tools too, a spanner wrench that is hollow for the hose to fit through, and a plastic double clamp that keeps things out of the way and in place under the sink. I love the design and quality of this piece.Read More

This is a great faucet well worth the considerable price. It does take a bit of getting used to as others have noted: the water stream is *really* strong compared to my old faucet and I've soaked myself more than once :-/ It was pretty quick to install after I convinced my friend to follow the instructions and I'm really happy with it! It is the perfect finish to my new kitchen!Read More

I purchased this faucet and love it overall; however, I cannot get the sprayer to fully retract and connect to the faucet. The plumber couldn't even figure it out. It is installed according to the directions and we have a 2nd similar but slightly smaller kraus faucet for our bar sink and we don't have that problem with it at all. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem or if you have any advice.
