Love this Table! I have a small apt and wanted a table with interest style and versatility. I had been looking at similar Tables in the past for almost 4 times the price. I was going to purchase a metal Top that was similar, but the pricing was over the top, and after reading some reviews It seemed that the wood top table had better ratings. I am so glad that I bought the reclaimed wood table. It looks amazing and it is sturdy. It has character and versatility, I am currently using it as my main dining table (small apt). It is rustic. The Base seems to be made of aluminum with a dark paint, it looks like iron but not as heavy. Which is a good thing because it's pretty substantial in weight. The wood top weighs it down as well, so it feels solid when I have my elbows on the table. sorry mom....
I loved this table. It was exactly as described. The table was easy to assemble. The most difficult part was removing the packaging. I wanted a round table for an eating area in my family room. This worked perfectly. I really liked the reclaimed wood top. The small areas of different colors adds to the character. This doesn't distract form the beauty of the table top.
I initially bought the metal topped table trying to emulate a similar West Elm table that cost $*** - but it had a very flimpsy top (and would make a lot of noise whenever you put anything on it) so I decided to look for a more sturdy table. This is it. The reclaimed wood on top looks awesome, and it looks great next to the exposed brick wall in my apartment. I would definitely recommend this.
Love the industrial look of this table. The good: It looks good in my kitchen and functions well as a bar/ breakfast table. The bad: the base was thrown in a box with a little foam to protect it. The box arrived torn and battered, but the base was fine. Also the "finish" on the top is already showing signs of wear after 6 months of daily use. This is kind of a non-issue since my original intentions were to put a nice walnut top on it in the first place. All in all the base is sturdy and works well even when the table is at bar height.
This is the perfect little bar table for my billiard room, together with a couple of stools that are also "industrial" in appearance and crank up and down. Looks well made and sturdy. The table first came with a badly cracked top, but Overstock promptly replaced the whole thing. Thanks guys, fine service.
This table looks EXACTLY like the photo. The black metal is a gun metal coloring, for sure black but has a very light sheen to it. So its not a flat black. Putting it together is a simple TOP screws onto center post and spins down. The table top is awesome-HOWEVER- you might want to look into getting a glass round protective top to preserve the natural reclaimed wood look. The legs tend to get in the way when your seated. No matter which way you turn the table someone gets the awkward leg obsitical. BUT you can expect that with only 30". It still WORKS just fine--We bought Industrial wearhouse style chairs from***** to go with it. ( It was difficult to find a wood grain that wouldn't be too conflicting. Check out: Stanford swivel counter stools $ for two. Its not reclaimed wood but it works.) Solid black chairs of any kind will match up. We use the table at the COUNTER height. Only a tiny glitch. When the table is rotated up to counter height it bobbles a tiny bit. So, once you have it at the height you want it, stick a small paper clip or something close inside the metal groove. It just needs something to fill in the tiny gap-space. You will NOT regret purchasing this table. You will enjoy the ahhs & oooh's from those who come by and see it. I m thinking of buying the end table that matches. Seems like we are no longer cranky- Enjoy!
While this table cost more than I really wanted to spend, it was worth every penny. It's simply gorgeous, and quite versatile - with the adjustable height crank. It came shipped in two boxes and was easy to assemble with no tools. I simply screwed the table top onto the base - easy peasy!
Excellent design, good size (it fits perfectly in my little dining area), well matched materials (reclaimed wood looks and feels very rustic), metal base is well designed and balanced. Most of all, the assembly is very easy. Great value too!
This table is not described very well. The table top is rustic & heavy, but it also had blue & green boards, when the picture shows an all brown top. The finish was dull on the edges & didn't look like the top of the table. I've been searching for an adjustable table for some time, but this is NOT the one for me.
I've ordered several items from Overstock before and have been very happy with the purchases. However - this was not one of those times. The wooden top of the table was turquoise blue in some areas and the wood was extremely warped. I understand that this is meant to be a rustic/reclaimed table, but I did not expect the wood to be discolored and such poor quality. I returned the item immediately. Overstock was very helpful with refunding my purchase immediately after they received the item back.
