Does not float my boat
I was quite excited to get this item. I encountered several problems. The first problem is that the skimmer does not come with any type of a manual or instruction guide. The unit must be assembled before you can use it. The second problem is that it while it sometimes pulls water into the basket and skims the debris off the water surface, it has a tendency to not float properly and sucks air instead of water. I would not recommend buying this pond skimmer, it does not do what it is supposed to.
