I just don't like this massage shower panel. There are too many holes and too many controls. I really wish I hadn't bought it. I would prefer one that has less controls. Another person might like this, but I don't.

I am writing this review after testing it out for a while now, over a year. The knobs, including the main one to turn the water on, are all plastic coated to look like steel. If it breaks due to everyday use, you will not be able to replace it. I was happy with the product initially, as it looks gorgeous and lets you use all modes at the same time. So I have to credit that. However, it started to rust and leak from the overhead shower arm and we could not find replacements for the exact arm parts at local hardware stores. So we contacted manufacturer. On their website, they claim 5 yr warranty for all parts and say that it will not rust since it is stainless. However, the manufacturer would not respond to emails after realizing we were looking for replacement parts while it was under warranty. He replied my initial request asking about the product, but would not reply when asked for parts! I had no luck contacting him after several attempts. Buyer beware, the manufacturer does not stand behind their product. I looked up BBB and found complaints for Kokols/Home compound.
First off, remember that these things range up to several thousand dollars, and I only spent a couple hundred on this one. I compared it to the options on the expensive ones, and the materials used to make it, and there wasn't enough of a difference to stop me from trying this one. I've had it in for about a week, and no leaks yet. When I took it out of the box, it was wet, and covered in water spots. At first I thought I got something someone else had returned, but then I realized that it probably was tested for leaks before packaging, and it would be impossible to get it completely dry before packaging. It was packaged beautifully and didn't look like it had already been installed somewhere, so I decided to just deal with it. The water spots buffed off with a cloth. Before I installed it, I went googling “shower panel installation guide”, and followed advice & tightened all the connections inside, and yes, they were almost all a bit loose, so I definitely felt like I was doing something important by tightening them. It was easy to install, especially since it was a brand new bath with no existing fixtures to remove. It is beautiful, by the way. The best feature I like about this shower panel is their multi function valve, you can turned everything on at the same time. The shower head and the handheld sprayer are very nice and have good flow. This is probably one of few shower panels at this price range offer this function. Totally worth the money if you have your heart set on a shower panel and don't want to blow your budget doing it.

I wish I had opened the package and inspected it after getting it. I might have sent it back. The Pros: You can have as many outlets on as you like - you are limited only by your water pressure. We can do two at a time comfortably. I found it easy to use and I like all the different functions. It looks great and the price is pretty low for all the functions. The Cons: It's pretty cheaply made with very thin metal housing and plastic hoses. We'll see how well it holds up. The body jets are just jets - no massage functions and no way to turn some off and others on. When mounted high enough for my 6' husband to get his head comfortably under the rain head, the top jets would've been in my face (I'm 5'5"). We had to buy a shepherd's hook shower arm to make it work. The hand shower is cheap and has no functions, although it should be easy to replace. Make sure the mirror is mounted before installing - there's no way to get it on once the unit is on the wall. Bottom line: We are enjoying our new shower and I like having the diffferent functions. It's easy to use and looks impressive and expensive. But I'm not sure how well this will hold up in the long run. My advice if you want a shower tower is to spend more and get something more sturdy.
