This desk is a very handsome piece of furniture. It is very functional, and a great value for the money. My husband put it together by himself without any trouble, and it looks great in our office/spare room!

We're very happy with this laptop desk. It's quite petite, perfect for a narrow space. It's very nice looking., looks like we spent more money on it than we did. I could not have been happier with the assembly. There were many pieces, but every bag of hardware and every piece of wood was clearly labeled, which makes such a difference. The drawers are pretty narrow, and with a standard size laptop on the desk there isn' t much room for papers etc. but it's great for a small space.

Purchased this desk a few weeks ago, and Love it. I needed something for a small space but with storage for makeup and odds and ends. I was able to assemble this desk in about an hour; the ease of putting it together was great. The workmanship is very wood, made form solid wood mostly which is great for the price. Like the other reviewers the color form the picture is off, but i actually wanted a darker piece of furniture so was completely satisfied with the color. I would definitely recommend this desk for a small space needing functionality.

I read the reviews before I purchased so I was aware of the dark color, it really is espresso. This is the color I wanted but if I had been expecting the picture color I would have been very disappointed. Very easy to assemble all parts were well marked in packages. Not a high quality piece of furniture but certainly is worth the small price. It arrived in great shape.

Read and understand the dimensions carefully before you buy. Otherwise it's like walking into a Hyundai dealer, driving off with an Accent and wondering why it's not roomy like a Cadillac. There won't be room for much of anything but your laptop. This is a small computer desk only, NOT a computer SLASH writing desk. That being said, it's a well-made, space-efficient computer desk. You will need a stubby screwdriver for the top/hutch, so be prepared, and have one handy. The pieces went together the way they were supposed to, everything fit, there was TONS of extra hardware, so no risk of running out. Overall, I'm very happy w/this desk. The only thing, and it's the reason I gave it 4 and not 5 in the "appearance" category, is that it's not the medium reddish brown the picture shows. Its at least a full shade darker, and more brown-brown than red-brown in color. So, the color is true to the product name--"espresso"--and not to the picture. I prefer the darker, espresso color to the color in the photo, but some people may not. The simple, almost Shaker lines make this very versatile. It will fit in w/modern decor just as easily as it will w/country decor. It ain't big, but this is a sturdy, solid, attractive, well-manufactured piece of furniture.

Good deal for the price. Wood much darker than photograph. Assembly not too difficult. Desk is great for small spaces.

The desk arrived sooner than expected and was easy to put together. One big problem was that one of the legs did not fit using the pre-drilled holes and I had to drill new ones in order to complete the desk. It might be a little crooked but it serves its purpose and the price was very good.

This was delivered today and I'm sittting at it right now. Really nice quality desk although the color is very much darker than the picture. It is nice and heavy and solid wood. Also was not easy to assemble. My husband had no problem but he is a whiz at that kind of thing. Anyone not really comfortable with assembling furniture should beware.

I was pleased with the desk and it's quality. While it was smaller than I expected, it works well for it's purpose. I would note that the desk arrived with some slight shipping damage but not severe enough to make me go through the trouble of returning it.

I bought a Knox Expresso Desk this week. I was disappointed when it arrived. The color is totally different from what it is shown on the website. It is so dark that it looks like BLACK. It does NOT match the furniture that I have in my room!EE

Great desk for my daughters room. We were looking for something small but functional and this desk worked out perfect for her. It's very sturdy and solid and great quality for the price. The directions to assemble it were very easy to read and I got it put together very quickly. I'm very pleased.

It is worth what you pay for. Looks good enough for an extra bedroom. Just right size for the space I have at the one room mountain cabin. I put my laptop on it and it fits perfect. The drawers and small shelf on top are handy. A very practical piece.

I had been looking for a SMALL and narrow vanity for my bathroom for 7 months. I was considering having one made. Then I saw this adorable desk, and its as if it was custom made. The color is a deep chocolate brown, and all of the shelves and drawers work so perfect for my cosmetics and lotions. I love this thing, and would grab it in case of a fire !!!
