I have never given any product 5 stars across the board. I usually leave enough "wiggle room" for product improvement. The Kitcheaid Pro LineBurr coffee mill is a product that has had much thought behind its concept. The attention to detail starts as soon as you open the box. The owners manual has easy to read instructions and the paper quality is like that of a Mercedes owners manual. The unit is solid and grinds the coffee beans with little effort. Once you figure your own personal setting (mine is #5) the Pro Line does the rest. It's quiet and has a "beefy" sound to the motor. With the glass cannister the fresh ground coffee does not fly out or stick to the inside of the unit or cannister. It looks larger in photos than it really is, and fits nicely next to our Bunn coffeemaker. I think I thought the Pro Line Burr grinder was the same size as Kitchenaid's big mixer since they look similar. But the grinder is about half the size of the mixer. I have never written a product review this long either, I guess I'm "stoked"!

Sturdy machine but grind for espresso is too coarse so have to return . Too bad because it is a well built machine and for regular coffee would be OK but not for espresso.

We have loved the burr grinder--no more bitter coffee. The burr grinder eliminates overheating the beans by grinding too long. The ground coffee is immediately dispensed into the glass container on the bottom. Certainly easy to use. Did have to disassemble the front section to release some beans that got caught, but was easy to put back together.

Works great, makes the BEST cup of coffee! I highly recommend this to all coffee drinkers.

I love the "quality" of the KitchenAid Pro line products! It is the quality that you always expected from the KitchenAid name!! Beautiful and quiet operation! Love it! Love it!

Not only does it have the quality that KitchenAid is known for in their high-end appliances but is one of the simplest devices I've bought in years. Not too complicated to operate, easy to clean and makes a great cup of coffee! Only one thing I really didn't care for was the style, it looks too much like my wife's grinder. ;-) Great value and Highly Recommended!!

A little pricey but well built and worth the price paid for me.
