I am interested in this roaster, but I see that it is only safe to 400 degree. Most of the other roasters are 500...and when cooking roasts, hams, etc. the heat used is typically 425-450. What would happen, it will crack or break with that heat. Or is that because of the lid? I wouldn't be putting the lid in the oven, but want it to put it on when I pull out the roaster and have it cooling.
