Poorly Made
This product performed much poorer then expected. Blender has very little power and smells like burning rubber when crushing ice. Not what I would expect from Kitchen Aid.

Excellent for the price
This blender is WAY better than the Ninja ($120 at Costco) and only slightly not as good as my Vitamix ($400+). It's really excellent for the price. I just wish I had paid attention to the size of the jug that it came with because it's a bit small for my needs. It puts out a very smooth smoothie!

Excellent blender
I bought this for my daughter who is in college. She loves to make smoothies. Before she got this one, she was using her roommate's low end blender which turns out her smoothies have lots of chunks in it. This blender blends very smoothly. I love Kitchen aid products and this one does not let me down.
