I love it - I love it! I don't know why I haven't ordered one sooner. Didn't like baking anymore because everything seem to take so long to mix - not any more! Within a couple of minutes everything is mixed and ready to go. Makes the absolute best pastry dough for pie and my cookies were absolutely incredible!

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday. She said she doesn't need another birthday present for at least 10 years, she is so happy with it. My KitchenAid mixer is really old, but is still in perfect working condition. I kind of wish something would quit working on it so I could justify getting a new one for me.

I was a little concerned about buying a "refurbished" mixer, but after reading the other reviews, I purchased this large Kitchenaid mixer. I love it! I have put it through it's paces. IE: dough, cake batter, whipped cream, cookies, etc., and it has performed perfectly. Mixer as described, along with attachments. I read where the splatter guard was not included and this was honest and accurate. Can easily get one online for about 20 bucks. I have a kitchenaid artesian mixer, but wanted to upgrade, since the large professional one can handle more dough for bread. I would not hesitate to buy this mixer again and if it had not been for the greatly reduced price, I would have not been able to afford it.

For the price, couldn't ask for anything better. Looks brand new. Didn't have the smell like some others were complaining about. The one thing I dont like about it is that it dosent have the lifting head on it. The bowl raises and lowers with a lever. Also the bowl can be a little tricky to get in to the correct position. But For the 6 quart 600 watt mixer for less than $$$ I could ask for anything better.

I got this for my daughter, she has wanted one forever. it took all I had to keep it from her till Christmas, but I think she was surprised! it matches the mic of the same color.. they both sit proudly on the counter.. ready, willing and able!! lol... :-)

I bought this as a gift for a special friend. She'd expressed an interest in a kitchen aid. I originally did not think that empire red would be the color she wanted for her kitchen. I was able to surreptitiously determine that this was the color she wanted. She had already intimated that she did not think that full price was appropriate and that a reconditioned unit seemed to be a better value. When I received the package I immediately opened it to ensure that the color was correct, that all of the accessories were included and that the refurbished unit did not have excessive wear. The item looked perfect and completely unused! The recipient is very happy with the gift. I have a Kitchen Aid myself .This one is much nicer than the one I bought for myself and it cost less too!

I shopped around for a good value on the Kitchenaide 6-Qt. Mixer as my wife saw one in a store and loved it. I went to Overstock.com because I had always saved money here before and the units were always what was advertised. When she opened her gift she liked it but complained that the pour shield was NOT included. I contacted Overstock.com who explained the pour shield is not included with this unit eventhough was pictured. They then referenced on their listing that it is NOT INCLUDED. However, when I purchased the unit back in November, I did not see this as listed and saved a copy. Since then it was added. Beware if you purchase from Overstock.com their pictures do not match what you get .

I have wanted a stand mixer for years and just couldn't decide which brand/model to purchase. When the Kitchenaid Professional 600 came up on the website at an amazing price, I jumped at the opportunity. A few days later, it arrived at my house. The only (slightly) negative thing I can say about it is that it was too tall to fit in my appliance garage, so I was forced to clean out cupboards to make room for it. It was advertised as a refurbished model, but it looked brand new when I removed it from the box and it works like a dream.

After forty years of hard use my previous Kitchen Aid took its final breath! With the holidays approaching, my first thought was Overstock.Com. I didn't hesitate to buy refurbished because my previous purchases had been excellent buys, and I knew their return policy was good. The mixer arrived promptly-there was not a mark, blemish or dent on it, and the red color was beautiful. My first use of the mixer was for a double batch of biscotti which the Kitchen Aid made short work of. Now I'm getting the jump on Christmas cookies and this machine is fantastic. However, the more powerful motor shortens mixing time so until you get used to it, keep an eye on your batters. Would I purchase again or reccomend this machine? YOU BET I WOULD!
