I think that this is a great item for a small kitchen or someone on the go and can't wait for a large pot of coffee to be done. It is quick and the coffee comes out very HOT!! There are pros and cons all over the internet regarding this coffee maker. The main one was the taste coming from the coffee mug. I think the plastic sometimes makes it taste; however, I have washed it dozens of times, and occasionally it does. I think periodically you need to run lemon juice or vinegar through the coffee maker to keep those unwanted flavors out. And I don't necessarily need to use that mug, I have others. It makes wonderful hot coffee In fact the temp it should be It drips for a few minutes from the basket after the light goes out, but I now take out my basket piece (has a handle) and dump the grounds, no more dripping, and, it doesn't sit there all day. I t only does that because there is still water in the grounds. To be expected. So wait a few minutes longer to pick up your mug, let it spill in the wonderful drip tray, or, empty the basket. Duh! It is a really good coffee maker, and I paid more than it is offering the price for at this time. So, I am considering buying a second one because it is such a good coffee maker. And, it is a Kitchen Aid.Read More
Excellent price, low shipping cost, product as advertised. I really enjoy having fresh coffee in minutes rather than making a large pot in the morning and reheating later.Read More
Great machine. Makes one really big cup of strong, hot coffee directly into whatever mug I want to use. With a short mug it splashes a bit on the back & after it's done brewing, it drips a little. But so what? And at half the price of what most retailers are selling new ones for, it's a great deal.Read More
