    I purchased this mixer with the understanding that it was new and included a $$ rebate. After the purchase I find out this is a remanufactured unit which does not apply to the rebate. I sent an email to the Overstock help service and also called. Both were very unhelpful and left a reponse of Yep if its Remanufactured you can not get the rebate that we advertise with it. Fis your Ad's!!!!!! I could have bought a new one for a better price knowing it is New not used. Customer help line is useless and they have been having a winter storm in Utah for about a month now everytime you call.

    We selected this mixer as our third one. So now, my mom has one, I have one, and my sister has one. This mixer is worth every penny. From cakes to pimento cheese, are easily made by this mixer. The ice color is really great as well. It very subtle but has that pop as well. It's worth the purchase.

    For a refurbished model, this has done one job well though it slowed down a bit mixing the cookie dough. The splash guard fits but not snug. Love the coated beaters and bowl design.
