It blends & it is way yellow. Plastic pitcher has both pros & cons. Only issue is not being able to take out blades for cleaning makes it hard to get into the bottom nooks.

This blender is not only nice looking in yellow, but also works great! Very powerful and easy to clean. I only wish the actual pitcher part was glass, but its not a big deal.

Powerful and sharp blades, easy to clean, heavy/stable base, and an awesome color!
