Didn't realize that it would make a difference in grinding your own coffee or buying pre-ground. It tastes better and I can do just what I need for a few days so it stays fresh. The product is easy to operate and I have had no problems with it.

Oh for joy - no more boulders and dust! I love French press coffee but most grinders just can't give the consistent grind required for a good, clean cup. Forget bladde grinders entirely - keep them for spices and seeds. I found one or two cheaper burr grinders that were tolerable, but they would either overheat or still give you a lot of dust. Now I expect a small amount of 'sludge' from a press pot, but this grinder eliminated it almost completely. My next Kitchenaid appliance is going to be an espresso maker, so that I can take advantage of this machine's full potential. Oh and did I mention... It's beautiful, too!

Very good mill, fairly quiet and even grind. The price was right on OSC.

I have only owned two other coffee mills and this KitchenAid is head and shoulders above them in quality. The grind is perfect at 7.5 for espresso and the machine is quiet compared to my other mills and it doesn't clog like my last unit. There is no plastic and the glass jar cleans up perfectly and is easy to remove the grounds with a spoon or scoop. I appreciate the build of this machine.

The different grind levels are great! I can finally make a really nice espresso at home and my drip coffee is excellent. This is a really solid machine that I think will last for years. I do have some static cling problems with the grind container and the bin seal plate lets some grinds escape. This results in some grinds on the counter, but the quality of the ground coffee far outweighs the occasional mess. I love this machine!

It required adjustment but once that was dun it has work wonderfully for espresso .

Great product! Finally, a grinder that works! Many different grind settings, from coarse for french press to very fine for espresso and everything in between. Easy to fill and easy to retrieve ground coffee. Cleans easliy. Attractive on the counter. It does take up a bit of space, but it is worth it!
