    Bought these because I needed pots to work on my new induction cooktop. They work great! Love the glass lid, as I am able to see what I am cooking. They are as nice as the all-clad, just not as heavy. A friend of mine has an expensive name brand that looks just like these, except the handles are different, and I know I didn't pay as much as she did!

  • Quality cookware

    These pots and pans are quality products. I like the clear see through lids. The heat is evenly distributed and foods come out cooked well. A very good purchase for the cost.

what are the *three layer for the non-stick*... is this the same as kitchenaids 3 layer hard base, ie: A "Hard base" primer - ceramic particles of mean diameter less than 4 µm...Ceramic layer and Whitford Eclipse nonstick layer... Hello veenis, We apologize for the delay in answering your question. A double full cap base consists of a layer of aluminum, then copper, followed by more aluminum and finally a layer of stainless steel, all of which is bonded to the base of the pan for exceptional cooking performance with reduced hot spots. Hello, cassian. Hope your day is going well. In a high end product, you should expect the handles to be designed in a way to facilitate heat dispersal. They won't necessarily get too hot to handle, unless they are too close to the heat source. Don't fill the pan up to the level where the handles are and don't let the gas flame extend outside the bottom of the pan. If you do, even the plastic handles will get hot and even burn.
