We bought this toaster for our office because it was touted as "commercial grade" and it has lived up to that. The only thing I would like is wider slots for larger bagels. Easy to clean trays and great looking profile.

You know I don't usually get excited about kitchen appliances. I buy upper end because I expect to get what I pay for. I recently bought a Krups 4 slice stainless steel toaster only to have it stop working (one half) after 15 months of normal family use . It wasn't cheap, looked great but didn't come through in the end. I saw this toaster and decided to give it a try as we have all our appliances in the kitchenaid line. Bottom line, it actually works like a toaster should. I won't kid myself, this is an expensive toaster but when something works, it's worth it. At least that's how I can console myself for spending this much on an appliance the size of a bread box.
