Kitchen Towels (Set of 12)

Over the years I have bought these for personal use and as a gift. The 1st ones I received were from India and the last ones are made in China. The ones from China do not seem to be as thick or as absorbent as the ones from India. I will keep them and use them and see if they last as long as the ones from India. I used to always rate these with 5 stars.

These towels are a great size, & price for 12. Washed them & they still look good, durable and absorbent. I would recommend these towels for anyone. Plan on buying more great gift idea.

I needed to replace quite a few of my old towels that had become spotted and worn and only fit for use as rags. I had lookes locally in discount stores,our supper market and other places on the internet and had not found any that I felt were quite what I wanted so I dedided to check Overstock.Com. The reviews of previous buyers were pretty and the towels seemed like a better value than I could find elsewhere. I was amazed at there good looks, but wanted to see how they looked after they were washed and dried--the came out looking wonderful and they are very absorbant. Lest people think I'm a little crazy to worry about the looks of my dish towels, I must say that I use towels for napkins when friends and family come to dinner. They're bigger and better than paper napkins and they don't need to be ironed!

These are attractive towels but are not absorbant at all. It is frustrating to grab one to clean up a small cup of spilled water and find that it just smears the water around. If you are looking for something to decorate your kitchen, these would work out fine. But if you are looking for towels to perform multiple functions and be useful (ie - if you do more in your kitchen than heat up microwave food!) you should look for something else.
