  A very decorative way to keep composting container at hand on the countertop without being unsightly. worth the $ as I have not found anything else as good looking on the cheaper price range.

  The smell is very strong....worried it could be toxic. I had to air for almost a month before trying to assemble. The worst part I was missing a part (rear axle), cant use until part is replaced. I might ask refund, not sure worth the priced paid.

  We've had our automatic trash can for a year and a half now. We've had to replace the batteries once...maybe twice. It's so nice having the sensor, so you don't have to step on anything or touch anything to get it to open. The black and stainless steel finish is sophisticated and looks great in our kitchen. Everyone who comes over to our house always says that they are going to buy the same trash can for themselves! I know we're talking about a trash can here, but it's one of my favorite things in my kitchen! LOVE IT!

  Bought one of these at a club store, same brand, same two cans per sale. the lid broke a few years ago, so automopen could not be used. was delighted to find this product with Overstock - some reviewers carped about the constant opening of the autolid - PRESS THE OPEN button, clown, and it will stay open! Another griped about the expoesed bag liner - just tuck it UNDER the secure ring - oh, complaint about the color - if its black and stainless, what did you expect? I have enjoyed everything from Overstock, great company, good servicve, better yet, super prices
