With one kid in college, our kitchen makeover had to be postponed, but with this new sink, the kitchen has a whole new look. Stylish, deep, with a stainless steel grid for the bottom, drainer, and sliding collander, this is a contempory sink, that has such a slim side that it almost looks like it's an undermount. Enormous, very deep and lots of room for all our large stock pots and baking dishes, cookie sheets, etc. Compared with the sink my husband wanted, we saved over $***, on the sink alone, not including the grid and drainer which are included.

Looks like a big, deep sink - which is what I wanted for our laundry room. The one thing I didn't remember to think about is that it is so large, it takes away the already limited counter space. The only reason I am doing this in the first place is because I have extra quartz countertop. Live and learn I guess. It is a big improvement on the plastic sink currently in place - that has chipped and discolored and just looks cheap. I debated endlessly on this project because ultimately it is just a laundry room - but even the cheap utility sinks are ***** - so I might as well do it right so I don't have to be annoyed that I spent money on something I really don't like. It does not appear to come with a drain. I think I have an extra set from the kitchen renovation that hopefully I can use… but that would be an additional purchase.

I love this sink, it's a nice, clean cut, smooth, heavy stainless steel, and at an unbeatable price. truly a center piece in the kitchen.

Pros: Looks great. Nice and deep (probably not good if you are really tall because you'd have to bend down really far). Quiet. Well built. Cons: The bottom rack is to prevent scratches to the stainless. It is very inconvenient when it comes time to clean the sink out of all the veggies peelings. You pretty much have to remove the rack, which is very tricky to do; you have to bend it at a certain angle so it comes out. Then where do you put it while you sweep all the peelings down the drain? You have this wet rack dripping everywhere. If you leave the rack in place, it takes a long time to clean up carrot or potato peelings, you are picking them of the wire rack one at a time. So I removed the rack altogether, makes sink clean up a breeze. But now I've got scratches. Oh well, guess I'll take convenience over aesthetics. It is gonna get scratched but at least it is nice and deep and the scratches aren't visible to anyone who is not doing dishes.
