My new kitchen is so great, in part, because of this sink. No more divided sinks, this big deep sick is wonderful. It cleans well with BonAmi and is easy to keep clean. Love it.

Great sink & we love it so far. We've only been using it for about 3 weeks, so can't comment on how it will hold up, but so far, so good. Part of our decision to go with a farm sink was that we are expecting our first baby next month so bath time in the sink would be much easier & it's extra spacious for large pans/pots as well. The quality seems very good & our plumber said it was much better than the ceramic farm sinks he often sees. The reason for 4 stars vs 5 was the install was more complicated than expected. Farm sinks have to be installed prior to granite, so the granite can be templated around them(learned this). Our granite installer didn't use the template as it shows the counters not overhanging the sink, which we wanted them to hang over the sink about an 1/8 or 1/4" so that food wouldn't get stuck along the seam & instead brushes right into the sink. The sink required extra support at the back as it's much heavier than a standard sink, which wouldn't have been an issue, ex...

I did a bunch of research on what makes a stainless steel sink good quality, and this sink fit the bill on all accounts. I was ordering it for my laundry room, so I was not bothered by the unusual "D" shape. When I received and opened it, I was immediately struck by how large it looked. Indeed, when the granite guys came to template to make our counter tops, they let me know it was too big for our standard size counters--too wide front to back. I sadly had to return this and was very sad because it was a great quality sink with drain for a great price.

Pros: Looks great. Nice and deep (probably not good if you are really tall because you'd have to bend down really far). Quiet. Well built. Cons: The bottom rack is to prevent scratches to the stainless. It is very inconvenient when it comes time to clean the sink out of all the veggies peelings. You pretty much have to remove the rack, which is very tricky to do; you have to bend it at a certain angle so it comes out. Then where do you put it while you sweep all the peelings down the drain? You have this wet rack dripping everywhere. If you leave the rack in place, it takes a long time to clean up carrot or potato peelings, you are picking them of the wire rack one at a time. So I removed the rack altogether, makes sink clean up a breeze. But now I've got scratches. Oh well, guess I'll take convenience over aesthetics. It is gonna get scratched but at least it is nice and deep and the scratches aren't visible to anyone who is not doing dishes.

I love this sink. It has been installed for a year and it still looks great. I use it for cleaning full baking sheets, canning equipment, and large pots. I wouldn't trade it.
