This is awesome! I've had it in a week and it replaces a Kohler that I had tarnished with silver cleaner. The builder was replacing my granite so now was the time to do it! I have ordered about every 32" single bowl sink Overstock has on here. This one is more shiny than the others. My kitchen has chrome accents, lights, pulls, faucet (appliances are stainless steel). This sink looks so good with the chrome faucet! As the other reviews have mentioned a single bowl sink is great for large pans (and washing your babies if necessary). I also LOVE the zero radius...the other sinks seem to have rounded corners that appeared they would hold food so you would end up with a little pool of food deposits over in the corner. Yes they would be easy to clean but zero radius sinks are not the much more work. Yes, you have to use your scrubber to get in there, but you have to do that anyway. Plus, I just love the look of this sink coupled with the square cut of our granite... it is just beautiful. This was a great price and the quality and sound deadening seems to but right up there with the Kohler. This sink has its drain a bit further back toward the back of the sink. I like it because now my faucet water goes directly down the drain vs before when it would run down and hit the sink and splatter. Probably not a big deal but beware that this drain is back further and might be an issue where you would need to reapply the plumbing to fit the disposal...but it took my plumber only about 45 min to do so. Just buy it, you will love it.

I did a tremendous amount of research before purchasing this sink. I specifically wanted 16 gauge because it is thicker and stronger than 18 gauge, and thus less likely to show dents, etc. I also wanted to purchase a sink from a manufacturer that had a solid reputation. This sink met all of my requirements. It looks fabulous installed undermount with my granite. The sink was shipped with a drawstring cover over it for protection against abrasions. It also came with the strainer assembly, protection grid insert, and a dish towel. Kraus knows what to do to achieve customer satisfaction. I couldn't be happier.

Kraus Undermount Single Bowl Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink with Grid has been a hit at my house. This sink is 16 gauge T304 stainless steel, making it a higher grade than I thought I could afford. It has padding to reduce noise, and a condensation coating, so it met all my qulaity requirements. The box it arrived in was sturdy, and the contents beautifully packed; as a result, everything arrived in great shape. The price was significantly lower than what I found at big box stores or granite yards. The template was accurate. The grid and towel that came with the sink are high quality. The drain appeared to be good quality as well; I particularly liked the deep strainer basket with handle, that was part of the drain assembly, and was disappointed that I couldn't use that drain with a garbage disposer. With the sink having only one drain hole, and so many people owning garbage disposers, that particular drain is more of a marketing gimmick than anything. It would make sense for the manufacturer to offer the consumer a choice between that drain, or a quality garbage disposer friendly drain and stopper. Since the price for this sink, with grid, drain and towel, was significantly less than most comparable sinks alone, I felt the drain was not a major issue. This sink is 9" deep. It offers plenty of room for anything I need to do in the sink, and reduces splashes from the new pull-down faucet. The sink is easy to clean. While the squared corners on some sinks look very stylish, I preferred the rounded, easy to clean corners of this sink. What I find funny is every single guy who has seen our remodeled kitchen gravitates to the sink and enthuses over it. They like that they have room to move around and not bang anything. I must agree. Though I am small, and joked that I had to be careful not to lean over the sink too far or I might fall in, as I use it I love that I can wash and rinse large cutting boards and pans without the usual maneuvers you have to use when you have a double sink. I took a risk changing from a double sink to the single sink, but I do not regret it at all. If I ever have a need for two sinks I can use a dishpan. In summary, I find the quality, size and features of this sink are five stars. As a minor point, I would suggest the manufacturer provide the option of a drain that is garbage disposer compatible.

This Ruvati Sink is a high quality product that fit my needs as a secondary single basin 'prep sink' that I used in my recent kitchen extension. It goes well with my quartz countertop and is a great match for me in terms of style and durability. I wasn't sure about using the chrome rack that sits on the bottom, but, after using it I can see how it helps protect the finish from the normal use and abuse sinks take from heavy pans and sharp utensils. It integrates well and gives the sink a custom professional appearance. The sink is a heavier thickness gauge than many of it's price point competitors ( 16 gauge rather than 18 gauge the smaller number being the thicker) and as such it will not suffer from the cheap 'tinny' sound of lesser, thinner steel sinks when splashed with running water. In addition, it is also has sound dampening insulation contributing to the quiet that also helps prevents condensation on the underside. I also love the generous radius on the corners for looks and ease of cleaning. Equipped with a Pull-out sprayer it is just the right size for cleaning large poultry and everything in between. It has a nice satin finish that was carefully protected by great packing. I did not use the supplied drain or attractive stainless steel stopper as I used the one that came with my new disposal. However these accessories were also first rate and although I'll probably never use them I stored them in my garage as they were too nice to throw away!. I am very satisfied with this sink and have received positive comments on it's looks. I do not hesitate in recommending it if you are in need of a classy, semi-compact and deep kitchen single basin sink that should gracefully last a lifetime.
Whether you're building a new home or remodeling your old kitchen, you may have some questions about kitchen sink size. The major things to consider are the depth, the shape, the available countertop space, and if your countertop already has a cutout or needs one to be made. You will also want to consider the size of your kitchen. A cozy kitchen will look and function better with a size-appropriate sink as opposed to a jumbo triple-basin sink. On the flip side, large kitchens can accommodate larger sinks. Read More
