I purchased this sink almost 3 years ago after spending way too much time looking at sinks and hardware. I purchased this sink and several kitchen and bathroom fawcets. I have not been disappointed. The sink (and other hardware) wears well, and I'm pretty hard on stuff. I wasn't disappointed by a single item I purchased from Kraus.

The sink is true to size and is the focal point of the kitchen. If you're considering a split sink vs a single bowl I highly recommend the single. Gone are the days where after a party you have both sides of the sink full of dishes with parts of the counter. This sink in particular handles everything you throw at it. The only reason I give it a 3 is that there is a slight warp from one end to the other. About an 1/8" I chose to flush mount rather than an under mount so It's raised on one side and down on the other. No one notices except us and if you're counter isn't a single slab you could hide it better.

Great sink & we love it so far. We've only been using it for about 3 weeks, so can't comment on how it will hold up, but so far, so good. Part of our decision to go with a farm sink was that we are expecting our first baby next month so bath time in the sink would be much easier & it's extra spacious for large pans/pots as well. The quality seems very good & our plumber said it was much better than the ceramic farm sinks he often sees. The reason for 4 stars vs 5 was the install was more complicated than expected. Farm sinks have to be installed prior to granite, so the granite can be templated around them(learned this). Our granite installer didn't use the template as it shows the counters not overhanging the sink, which we wanted them to hang over the sink about an 1/8 or 1/4" so that food wouldn't get stuck along the seam & instead brushes right into the sink. The sink required extra support at the back as it's much heavier than a standard sink, which wouldn't have been an issue, except the metal/steal underneath extends farther, so when the plumber went to install the faucet the standard hole (I believe 1.5" from sink) was still too close to the steel that is underneath the cabinet, so faucet wouldn't fit. We had to have granite guy come back and move the hole back (also making it larger- luckily our faucet had a large base or this would have been an issue), so that the faucet could get past the steel underneath. This also meant cutting out some of the bracing below & moving those supports. This seemed to surprise both our plumber & granite contractor, so I think this is something that may be unique to this sink (not sure), but something to be aware of for install. Besides that hiccup, it's great!! We also like the grate that came with it that fits in the bottom. Makes hand washing items much easier as they aren't sitting in dirty water - just a small bonus! Overall very happy with this sink so far.

This sink is perfect! The quality is excellent and you can't beat the price. It can be mounted above, level or under the counter top and it's very deep. If you buy stock or semi-custom cabinets you do have to modify your sink base; I just bought an extra 36" by 18" cabinet and after cutting down my sink base I used the doors from the extra cabinet. Even after purchasing an extra cabinet the price and quality cannot be beat. I have bought 3 so far for 3 different projects.

This sink came well packaged, including a felt bag big enough hold a large child to keep from being scratched. The under coating for noise reduction isn't too thick or ugly to deal with. The grates fit well, approximately 1/2" off the bottom of the sink, and have plastic protectors to prevent scratching. The two drains included were impressive. I will probably not use both due to my garbage disposal. I don't think either will work with your typical disposal set up. The one I will use is about a 2-3" deep basket style that would catch almost anything. The sink is 16 gauge stainless steel, which is kind of hard to find at Home Depot or Lowe's; The heavier gauge does make the sink quieter and less tinny if you are trying to compare.

I went back and forth as to what sink to purchase and finally ended on this one. I love a single bowl sink. I will never go back to a double bowl sink. However, this sink is really hard to clean because it is squared at the bottom and has very minimal slope to it. You have to constantly lift the strainer out from the bottom of the sink to manually clean the sink and dig food out of the corners and manually sweep them to the disposal. I was warned about this from a friend and didn't realize I'd be doing it every single time I cook or clean the kitchen. I have a long faucet with moveable spray and it doesn't help. There is no slope to the drain. Last night I found myself intentionally cutting the tops off strawberries directly over the hole for the disposal to keep from having to lift the strainer and clean the sink. I also found the sink to scratch easily. We've had it installed for 3 months and there are a lot of scratches and we ALWAYS have the strainer/grill at the bottom. Looks great at gives a modern look to a kitchen. Looking back, I'd probably do the rounded edges to get the rounded edges/slope in the bowl and help with the cleaning. The stainless steel sink looks great in my kitchen with Jenn-Air appliances.

We researched a ton of sinks before making this purchase. The sink was packaged beautifully and in perfect condition when we received it. It only took 3 business days to get here! We love the size of the sink. One note, the sink is very deep so you may get some splash from your faucet. This doesn't bother us at all, but if you want to avoid this, may want to choose a faucet that comes down deeper into the sink area.

I ordered this 3 days ago and came in today.Well packaged and no damage. The sink is exactly as pictured and heavy (16 gauge) dont be fooled by less expensive sinks with lighter gauge. I can't wait to get it installed.

I bought this sink for my kitchen that will be re-modeled soon after seeing the same sink in another kitchen currently being re-modeled by the designer that is going to re-model my kitchen. It looked great there I'm sure will be look the same in my kitchen. The color is a coffee brown (java), not too dark which works well w/ varied neutral granite. Great value and although still in box, it was delivered with the box intact without signs of mishandle. So far I am quire impressed.

I love this sink. It's beautiful and functional. It goes great with our countertops and cabinets.Bar Keepers Friend is the key to keeping this sink beautiful. The price here on Overstock couldn't be beat. I received this sink and it had a crack in it, but Overstock got me a new one right away. I was extremely happy with the customer service received with this sink.

I love how deep this sink is and have received many compliments on it. Similar size and gauge sinks from plumbing supply stores were priced 3 or 4 times higher. My only complaint would be that the slope of the sink doesn't allow it to drain super well, so wiping it out frequently is required to keep it clean.

I love this sink! I've been using it for 3 month now and have no complaints. It is quiet when you turn on the garbage disposal and washing dishes in it is a breeze. The price is excellent for this type of quality. Thanks "0" for fast delivery.

I purchased this sink thinking I was going to be installing Granite counters and I changed my mind. I put in formica instead. I did not install the sink until after I put the counter top down. I had difficulty with the fit. You must be extremely precise with the template cut. I had to go back and detail the edges. The clips are designed for thicker counter tops. I finally got it right after 3 attempts. I suggest you not put the silicone down until you are 100% sure that you have it right.

Came upon the Kraus BU21 while researching sinks for an upcoming remodel. The Kraus stainless steel sinks receive outstanding reviews for all of their sink models/sizes. I was looking for a smaller sink format to fit into a 33" cabinet. Other online reviews indicate that this unit will even fit into a 30" cabinet. The sink arrived within 3 days of order. And comes extremely well packed for shipping. Accessories (grids, drains, towel) are a great find for this price.

We recently expanded our home with a large kitchen and 2nd floor addition. I had my heart set on a farmhouse / apron style sink for years and this fits the bill perfectly!! The sink came well packaged in a wooden crate 2 days after I placed my order. My cabinet maker took the spec sheet included and customized the base cabinet easily with little extra cost. We are not handy so I do not know how easy it would be for some in our shoes to do themselves. My ONLY caution would be to remember that it is a fairly deep sink. I am 5'5 and have to bend over to scrub pots and pans with the sink set at a standard counter height. I am sure there is a work around for that but.. keep that in mind to save your back. My 3 year old daughter can still fit (with room to spare) for an old fashion bath while mommy is cooking dinner. All in all I would definitely recommend this sink and Overstock.com to anyone who is looking for a sink that WOWS people at a great price!! Thanks!!

This beautiful sink is sitting in its box. Until we decide on the material for the countertop, that's where it will stay. But it's clear that it will be a stunning addition to our kitchen, for a price that is 2 to 3 times less than a comparable sink from a company that spends a lot on advertising. YOU know their names. The sink stoppers are extremely good quality, and compare vary favorably to all the ones I've bought recently, to update bathrooms--heavier, better materials. The grids to protect the finish of the sink itself are easily worth 1/2 the cost of the entire package, based on customized sink protectors I've purchased for our existing sink. The soundproofing on the outside means that there will be none of the annoying noises one associates with a stainless steel sink. And, I hate to admit it, but my husband is right: the minimum radius design lets the sink look modern, while being easier to clean than the zero radius sinks other manufacturers are selling.

Wood has long been used for eating utensils, serving utensils and preparation tools. Wooden spoons are a cooking essential and also a beautiful addition to your kitchen and dining experience. On the practical side, these lightweight yet strong utensils are great for tossing salads and serving everything from mashed potatoes to green beans. Wooden spoons are also the perfect preparation tools for use with nonstick pans. Cleaning and general care of wooden spoons differs, however, from the cleaning and care of metal utensils. Wood expands in water, so soaking the spoons in dishwater is generally not advised. Aside from a few basic rules of care, however, it is not difficult to keep wooden spoons looking like new.
