the tips roll back and stuff gets underneath, so I don't use them. I'm afraid if they are not washed well enough that there will be germs and gross stuff underneath

This KitchenAid tool and gadget set was a Christmas present for a family member. With a re-designed kitchen and new appliances it was time to replace years old tools. This set was perfect! Just enough of a variety of items and just enough practical tools.

I like the way bamboo holds up to all of my most adventuresome cooking projects. I would expect to pay twice as much in a specialty store.

A beautiful and functional set, excellent accent to my new high gloss red cabinets and stainless steel. I am sorry I didn't purchase with the stainless container, must do that. Love them. Ethna Dias, Palm Beach

The handles on each of the utensils loosen up too fast.

We wanted a nice, wood place for our utensils. This is sturdy, asthetically pleasing & the utensils are a nice variety. Happy with this purchase.

This was bought as a gift. My son appears to like it. What can you really say about kitchen utensils!

I cannot imagine who would design kitchen utensils that could both be too hot to touch -- oh, and too uncomfortable to hold!

This is a quality set of utensils. They are safe to use up to 425 degrees. The handles have a nice thumb grip of red stripes. The handles also have a loop for hanging. I am impressed with the size of the spoons. The bowls of the spoons are large like buffet serving spoons. These utensils are top notch cooking utensils which are gentle on cookware surfaces......and they look sharp, too! These will become favorite tools of any chef!

I bought the set, and would consider it for myself if I didn't already have another set. Highly recommend the utensil set as well as overstock.com!

This was exactly what I was looking for! A quality starter utensil set that won't melt when cooking or in the dishwasher. Definitely a good buy!

What utensils I have used, I have had great success with. When mine wear out, I may buy them again if they are still around.

I had originally purchased these to use for our more delicte meals. Our plactic and metal utensils tear apart our food, at times. The food tends to stick to the plastic utensils, at times. . The Bamboo set is easier to clean than the plastic, however, we still use the metal spatual due to it being thinner and easier to get under the food. Overall, a good fit for any kitchen.
You may not think children and cooking are two things that go together, but getting children involved with cooking offers great benefits. They'll enjoy cooking together with you. And you can encourage kids to eat a variety of foods; when children take part in making meals, they are much more likely to eat them. Having cooking tools that they can use will make this time together in the kitchen safe and fun.
