This cart blends into our kitchen space seamlessly ,in a shade that complements our cabinets-colour is always a worry when buying online.Assembly was straight forward but it helped to have 2 people. We are using it without the sturdy castors for height matching with the kitchen island and we just put felt protectors on the bottom of the feet to protect the floor -super easy! We have bought several items from Overstock.com and have never been disappointed .

This Island came with comprehensive and easy to follow assembly instructions. All parts are numbered for assembly. Most of the assembly is fastened with screws and predrilled holes. Using a power drill speeds up the assembly. The cart has the look of a quality piece of furniture. Sturdy. Rolls easily or locks in place using the easy to use and access wheel locks. There are no stops to prevent the drawer from pulling all the way out. I expect that this Island will last for many years.

Good value for the money. It looks taller and slimmer to me in the online photos. In my room it seems shorter and wider, kind of portly.

Difficult to assemble. Much worse than *** furniture because of low quality pre-drilled holes. The cam holes were drilled too deep, so lining those up was very frustrating. Also the base board was completely ripped off on arrival. As I built it, I help the detached base board in place to secure it. Now that is it together, I love it.

AWESOME! This kitchen island has surpassed expectations. I have purchased furniture on line before and a big concern is the packing. This item is the best packed item ever. Encased in plywood, then styrofoam, then non scratch liners, it took awhile just to unpack the pieces and nothing was broken or even scratched. The outside of the cardboard shipping boxes were very dented by the shipping company and still the contents were perfect! The construction materials of the island is top notch and the drawer, shelves, and doors are wonderful. The granite top was sealed into the top so I didn't worry about it falling out during assembly. After assembly which took awhile, the product is better and has more features than islands I priced in custom furniture stores. It was also at least half the price. I went with the dark color and it looks great. I'm very happy with this kitchen island.

The cart arrived on tiime in a beat up shipping box weighing 110 lbs. Thankfully none of the inner boxes were damaged. All parts were there but it is essential to read instructions lay out pieces CAREFULLY. Some pieces were not numbered and it took a handy person 4 hours to build. Completed cart is as described and looks good except for minor scratches on wood top and slightly uneven door panels with a quarter inch gap. I plan to use this cart as a sewing card and would have liked a stronger shelf and bottom panels.

I love the cart now that it's assembled; however, the assembly was a pain and caused the loss of one star in my recommendation. It took my husband and me (you NEED 2 people) more than 2 hours (and he is really handy at this stuff) to put it together ONLY because we needed to take it apart twice during assembly since it wasn't clear on the instruction sheet in what order things should be done. The instruction sheet is pictorial only and has multiple tasks on step 1 and step 2, etc. but, in reality they needed to be done in a certain order which could not be foreseen until you got to step 4. All in all I would buy it again. I've already had several complements on it. It has locking wheels, which many carts don't. It has sides around 2 of the shelves, which is so important if you are actually moving the cart, and it has 3 shelves providing more space than most. We are using it on our elevator to transport meals from our kitchen on the 2nd floor of our home, to the rooftop deck on our 5th floor. Couldn't enjoy a meal up there without this cart.

I needed this storage space to augment a very small rental home kitchen, and it is storing nearly all our food, which leaves the rest of the cabinets for dishes and cookware. It assembled in a straightforward way, and I appreciated the leveling feet especially. The appearance is very attractive. It goes great with the Bermuda kitchen island. So much more appealing than plain white laminate presswood pantries. It was expensive considering the purpose and function, but to me the beauty was worth it for my kitchen. The center panel between the top and bottom cabinets has a different composition than the doors and sides. It may be engineered, because the finish scratches off easily from this rim. I've tried hiding the mars with furniture repair crayons and such. Waxy ones don't stick to the scratched area, nor do water based ones seem to want to sink in. The area below the scratched off finish feels kind of plastic. A black Sharpie has fairly well hidden the problem.

Ordered this kitchen cart last Thursday, received it on Monday! It hasn't had any reviews yet, so it needs one....this is an elegant piece of furniture, very well made, and not many problems assembling! I'm almost too afraid to use it as my prep table, but I know I will! The style and sturdiness is wonderful, and it's on beautiful castors, that match the hardware. Definitely recommend this cart!

Pros: Just the right size for our kitchen, this cart seems sturdy, and has a solid wood top and sturdy, locking casters. It has a surprising amount of well-compartmentalized space for such a small cart. Cons: This cart seemed more difficult to assemble than it should have been. Note that at the start of the non-verbal instructions, where it had pictures of the needed tools, one picture showed two (2) people! I did the job myself, but frequently found myself wishing for an extra pair of hands. Also, it did not come well packed; a very heavy box, there was minimal padding between the collection of parts and the outside, and the box arrived severely dented. The door and one of the towel rod supports were broken upon receipt; fortunately, Overstock.com was able to send replacements for free even though they may not be carrying the cart anymore. I would recommend a higher end kitchen cart from Overstock.

This Baker's rack was easy to assemble, and would look good indoors or outside. Its not too ornate (in that other, more traditional baker's racks seem to have lots of scrolls/ flower/ fleur-de-lys or other ornate patterns), so I think it would look good in a variety of differently styled/decorated kitchens. It seems sturdy and well made; I don't expect it is going to tip over or collapse or bend under normal weight usages. It is smaller than most other baker's racks, but that's why I liked it. The dimensions listed on the site were a key factor on why I chose this over other baker's racks; and am happy to say they are exactly as advertised - 69" tall, 12.23" deep, 19.25" wide. Also, it is a very dark gray in color.

I was looking for something very specific for a small space in my kitchen, where I could store small appliances, cookbooks, just for an extra shelves. This piece fits very nice in my kitchen, it was easy to assemble, and appearance looks great!

We got a great pantry system for $***, and we've added lots of storage to the kitchen in a stylish and space saving way. A few things about the cabinet: Assembly is a bit tricky as the directions aren't super clear. We purchased three units to stack on top of each other and ended up having to disassemble the first one because the directions didn't clearly mark front/back pieces. Once we did the first, however, the next two were easy to put together. Other thing is what previous reviews have said--the sides aren't closed, so your items inside will be seen from the side. We put poster board inserts along the side and painted them to match to give it a finished look, but be aware that the side is open. Overall, though, we are very happy with our purchase and would recommend it!

I bought this unit as a birthday gift based on the positive reviews. As far as the finished product goes, the reviews are spot on, a very nice cabinet for the money. I do agree what there should be a light in the lower section and the include light for the top is pretty basic. I didn't bother installing it. I'm going to do something customer so there will be LED lights in both sections. I've purchased numerous items with assembly required (most here) and this item was hands down the worst I've had period. The cam locks and dowel pins that assemble the larger parts of the cabinet were pretty straight forward. I was surprised there was no glue. The problem was installing the hinges to the doors and the cabinet. The pre-drilled holes were about half as big as needed, the wrong angle and not deep enough. I striped the head off 3 screws trying to get them tightened. Finally I grabbed my drill and started drilling them out until I found a size that let me fully tighten the screws. Luckily they are generous and provide a lot of extra hardware. When I see parts with the white identifying tags on them, the first thing I think of is how easy is it to get them off. These were terrible. I actually broke the nails on both thumbs scratching of the letters, up arrows and the tempered glass stickers not to mention taking the time to use a goo removed on the adhesive residue. Again this was a lot worse than any other item. It takes 30-45 days for a cargo container to travel from China to the U.S. I'm guessing this one must have done it in the summer and got extra baked on. I'm pretty mechanically inclined with a good array of tools and my assembly time was still around 5-6 hours which is about twice what I think it should have been. I didn't really like the "orange-ish" caps that cover the cam lock holes. The holes are positioned so they aren't that easy to see in the first place, so adding caps that don't match the oak wood just seems to draw attention to them. I think there was a review where someone had trouble with the boards that hold the mirrors in place. Mine was fine, there was plenty of screws that hold it in place. My unit had some scratches on the mirrors and wood that I'm going to contract customer service about. As this was a birthday gift I didn't have the luxury of not putting it together while I waited for replacements. I have always read in the product reviews here that they are very good about getting parts replaced, this will be my first time doing so. My "NO" vote for recommending to a friend is due to the fact that a "normal" person would end up returning this or breaking it due to the difficulty with the hinges. Otherwise it's a great looking displace case.

Bought this for my daughter for her birthday - and she loved it! It really adds a special touch to her dining area. Not too difficult to assemble as all the pieces are clearly marked - just follow the directions. Only needed a screwdriver. Would buy another one.

So first of all, I ordered the aspen cart with the stainless steel top and Overstock sent me the wooden top one. I exchanged it, and again was sent the wooden top one. I decided to just keep it because the effort of hauling a 100 lb piece of furniture back to the UPS store wasn't worth it. I actually think the wooden top is nicer since it has a leaf that folds up for extra counter space, but it doesn't match my kitchen as well. Anyway, the cart looks nice overall. It took 2 of us to assemble it, but wasn't too bad. The cart functions like it's supposed to, but I wish I had known that the rubber wheels would cause my brand new vinyl kitchen floor to turn bright yellow after prolonged contact. This is not really the cart's fault. Apparently that's a thing with all rubber on vinyl, but the weight of the cart makes this chemical reaction happen quite quickly. The cart is now sitting on a rug. Oh well. So my overall recommendation is that the cart is fine, but beware of the wheels if you have a vinyl/ linoleum floor. And don't expect to receive the exact cart that you ordered. I'm rating this product as "average" because it looks nice, but isn't top quality.
