  • So COLD! So Beautiful!!

    Jul 22, 2014

I got the 16oz size for Moscow Mules but they are great for ANY cold drink! I had to go back and order the 24oz ones for iced tea!! We use them all the time...the only drawback for some people might be that you can't put them in the dishwasher. I was really pleased with the weight and quality since I got such a great deal. I assumed they'd be a lightweight version of the awesome copper mugs the Moscow Mules were served in at the Polar Bar in Seattle, but they're even NICER!! You'll love them!

    Purcahsed this for Soap making

This mold was purchased for making melt and pour soap. The height and width are perfect for bread, meat loaf and a bar of soap. The sides are tapered, so I have to trim slightly for a perfect rectangle, but one batch of soap in this mold will produce twelve 4 ounce bars of beautiful handmade soap.

I had purchased a set of these dishes elsewhere for the same price, but the previous purchase had 4 additional butter plates in addition to the 16 pieces in the Overstock purchase. When I went back for a second set the first store was out. I was very happy that Overstocks carried the dishes because I just love the style. The glaze on the set is beautiful and is designed to be streaky. Mt first set (purchased elsewhere) was carefully matched so that all pieces were in the same color range. In the set from Overstock, the mugs had a much darker interior glaze that do not match the plates and bowls. On one plate I noticed a skip in the glaze on the eating surface. On my first use of that plate (after running everything through the dishwasher) the plate broke in half while I was eating my dinner. I assume that water was absorbed into the body of the clay and that the steam from the dishwasher caused a fracture. The dishes are marked as microwave and dishwasher safe. I had been using the fir...

  • Not really 6 inches thick.

I bought these for chairs for my outdoor table which sits on a patio that is slightly slanted to allow rainwater to run off. The table has adjusters under the legs to accomodate for uneven surfaces, so one side had to be raised higher than the other to make the table level. This caused the chairs on that side to sit low to the table. I thought that the 6 inch cushions would alleviate the problem. The cushions are nice, but they are maybe only 6 inches thick at a small spot right in the center. The seams on the corners are only about 4 inches deep and this seems to be about the thickness throughout. Needless to say, I am disappointed that the cushions didn't solve my problem.

I purchased this product on June 28, 2014 and used it for a week. Grounds would come out the coffee filter basket from the top because the lid on the top of the basket would not line up where the beans after grinding came down. I paid $*** dollars in shipping both ways to Cuisinart, and I waiting for the replacement.
