Here's to almost 100 years and one special ingredient–you.
It all started in 1919 with the legendary mixer. In the years since, we've built an entire kitchen's worth of products around the same quality craftsmanship, versatile technology and timeless style. The secret ingredient to our success? It's always been you. For generations you've brought KitchenAid into your home. Our products have helped you craft delicious meals and great times with your loved ones. You've made us part of your family. Which is truly a special thing.
So, here's to nearly a century in the kitchen making wonderful meals and memories. And, most importantly, here's to you.
It looks pretty when put together- however a few things to note that (for us) take away from the appearance:
1.) materials are thinner/cheaper than I expected
2.) pre-drilled holes were "off" or not well drilled in some spots
3.) This is likely not a very big deal to most folks- but was incredibly frustrating to our family. We bought this specific item because we were looking for something to roll under a free standing counter that was built with no cabinets underneath. The whole point was to be able to put it under this specific counter in our home for extra storage. The floor to bottom counter measures 35 1/4 so this should have fit perfectly as it is described as being 35 in tall. HOWEVER after putting it together (which takes quite while)- this unit is actually 35 1/2 inches in height. So guess what doesn't fit.....
Very frustrating. A 1/2 inch really can make a big difference to some people, I just wish the description had been accurate.
These are very nice goblets. Although not crystal but the glass is a high crystal clear quality. The etching really adds a classy touch. The thickness is just right for me and not too fragile. They can be used for many types of beverages. They are a perfect size 17oz. I use these to drink my beer and can serve wine in them for entertaining company. The rims are lazer cut so the lip edge is perfectly smooth. I got a set for a housewarming present and ended buying two sets for my own home.
I have several shelves of this style and am happy with them -- they are practical, strong, and effective storage pieces, particularly for the price. I was very pleased to find the same style in a wine rack. Holds A LOT of bottles. It can handle more shelves, and a top flat shelf would also be useful -- I will seek one out. Can highly recommend!
There are a lot of portable ice makers available right now, however I haven't seen any that can product clear ice cubes like this one from Luma Comfort. We are talking real clear ice, like you'd get at a bar or restaurant. For that alone, I'd give this product 5 stars - everything else is just a bonus!
Overall, very easy to use, very reliable thus far (2 months), and of course it looks great on my counter. The stainless steel really shines. I do recommend getting some real stainless steel cleaner, though, to keep it looking top-notch. Again as far as ice makers go, it really seems like a no-brainer: clear ice is the way to go.
Hello avamariekeen1,
I was able to find a few different selections. Please see: http://www.overstock.com/search?keywords=buffet&taxonomy=sto1&searchtype=Header to see our collection of buffets.
The return policy did not mention we'll be getting partial refund. The product packaging was not even open. Most businesses pay for return shipping, but not overstock. I thought the label withheld amount was so until the product was returned and received. Refund policy is unclear especially under holiday return. Well this is the last time I'm buying anything from overstock. Don't want to deal with the hassle.
Hello normwhite, We apologize that you didn't like refund amount and we would be glad to review this for you. Please email your order number to social@overstock.com.
Hello running01, After further research I have found that the Rio Porcelin dinnerware is made in china and the brand is Lorenzo Import Company. I hope this information is usefull to you.
