As soon as we tried to assemble this product, the wood split from the screws being put in..

The cart arrived very fast. Warning! The box it arrives in weighs a ton! I brought it into the house in pieces. Important info..........you CANNOT possibly put this together without an electric drill. All the holes on the cart cupboards and drawers need to be enlarged (unless you're Hercules and can screw through steel). The wood is very hard. Otherwise, the cart went together pretty well. Just read the instructions very carefully. I do like it very much and it was the solution to my problem of having a lack of storage in the kitchen.

It's a good thing this is pretty because it was awful to put together. Technically it should have been easy but one of the sides was not correct and nothing lined up which throws everything off. First we had to cut one of the wood pegs off because it didn't line up with the hole. We had to cut a notch in the back panel to get it to fit because the side panel was not cut properly (see previous sentence!) and the grooves on the back bottom support piece were not straight and neither was the support piece itself (it's width varied at one end) which means none of the grooves lined up (hence the cutting). There were screw holes on another piece that didn't line up as well. Finally, the doors are slightly crooked (which is very obvious since the knobs are are 2 different levels). For the price I feel it was bad enough that it had to be put so much together but I would have been just fine with that IF the construction of the pieces would have been good. If it wouldn't have been such a hassle to re-pack and return we probably would have done that. It's a good thing that it's pretty otherwise I'd be really, really unhappy.

The cart looks beautiful in my kitchen. Putting it together took about 4 hours for 2 people. The wood is real but it is not of the best quality but you can't complain with the price. Other carts that are just plastic charge more! I would definitely recommend.

The cart is made of nice solid wood. It is easy to assemble. You will need some basic knowledge of tool use. It took me about three to four hours to assemble. The assembly was well thought out and the directions are easy to follow. The cart is a nice product and nice looking addition to my kitchen.

Solid wood and they even gave me some extra small screws if I lost one. Assembly took about 3 hours for armature. Absolutely follow instructions, or parts will not line up.

I really liked this product for my kitchen. I ordered it a month ago and there were some damaged pieces when I received it. This has been a process because when they shipped me the new pieces they were also damaged. I am now waiting on a whole new kitchen cart to be delivered If this one is damaged I am giving up on this item and sending it back. I hope this works out because I really like the look of this item and is the perfect size for my kitchen

This cart looks really elegant for such an economy purchase. It took me about 4 hours to put together by myself over 2 glasses of wine. It would have been much quicker with 2 people with one to hold the frame while the other tightens the screws. It unpacked easily, all the hardware was marked "drawer side screws", "drawer bottom screws" so it was easy to tell which bolts to use where. The finish on the wood is very nice, no blemishes or rough spots and the pieces went together they way they were supposed to. The doors are the best part, you just pop them in on these little springs, there are no hinges to worry about. The drawers were a bit tricky but they look nice and close flush so I am very happy. The back is nicely finished so you don't have to put it up against a wall. I worried about that since there is no photo of the back. I can't believe I built this elegant cart and it looks great in my kitchen.

This was a gift for my sister. My husband and I put the cabinet together while she cooked dinner, and when it was finished, she immediately started moving pots and pans into the storage areas. The storage is big enough to fit small appliances like slow cookers. The top is beautiful, but is finished, so doesn't really seem meant for chopping. The cabinet is sturdy, the parts were in good condition, paint-wise, with no chips or dents. All of the hardware was included (except for the towel rack), with no parts missing or left over. The towel rack was completely missing. None of the pieces for the towel rack were in the box, neither hardware nor wood. That's why I took back one star.

I got this cart to add more working space to my small galley kitchen. Went together very easily in a few hours. It added a lot of storage space too - in the cabinet part I was able to put bread machine, rice cooker, toaster, dog food, small mixer and immersion blender. The drawers are quite deep as well and provide storage for kitchen towels, miscellaneous utensils and dinner napkins. The top of this is very hard wood (rubber wood) and quite nice looking. It has a leaf in the back that you can put up that almost doubles the work ares. The casters are nice and have a locking mechanism. As I had a very specific sized space to put this in I did not attache the towel rack and spice rack to the sides. It measures 43.25 inches wide without these items attached. Overall I am quite pleased with the quality of this and the price was wonderful. It certainly does not look inexpensive, or indeed like something you put together yourself.

I looked for months before I saw this cart on Overstock. I have seen similar carts at several other major retail stores, but at twice the price! My husband assembled the cart while I was at work, and he said it was pretty tough to put together because the only instructions you get are pictures, but he finished it in an afternoon and I Love it!! It is certainly solid, and even my picky husband said the wood was very good quality. I love being able to move it from spot to spot and I love the fact that it provides space for my cookbooks on the open shelf while still holding appliances in the cabinet section. The butcher block top is perfect for my needs since my counter space is very limited in our little kitchen! I highly recommend this product, just make sure either you, or someone else, can assemble without step by step instructions!

For the price, this does what it is supposed to do. Fairly easy to assemble and it looks great. Not totally wood as mentioned in the description.

The 110 pound package arrived today, and it took 3 of us to assemble. I have assembled TONS of this kind of furniture by myself, but this was a 3 person assembly. We used wood glue on the dowels even though the instructions didn't call for glue, it was the only way to assemble parts of it. Now that it's completed I am very happy with the cabinet. There was a few little scratches on the doors, but most of my furniture is "rustic" so the little scratches don't really bother me. It fits exactly were I wanted it, and it stores a lot of stuff. Overall, I am very pleased with the cabinet.

OK, so after unpacking the box and finding an untold number of wooden pieces, none of which were identified, & a plastic bag filled with screws, few of which I could distinguish from one another, I piled up the contents in a corner of my living room to await a day when I could better draw upon an extraordinary measure of patience. This proved a good plan for the assembly instructions were not as clear as they could be and I found myself scrambling for components where every piece pretty much looked like the other. All in all it took me a week to assemble (I kept coming back to it when I found the time). I only had to backtrack (disassemble) once on one step toward the end. I was not always entirely sure I was using the correct screws and such, but in the end I had no parts left over! Always a good sign. Better yet, once completed I stood back and marveled at the accomplishment. Everything worked! I would never have guessed that the drawer would slide in as easily as if a professional carpenter had installed it. Now I understand that successfully assembling this complex cart makes me no more a master carpenter than a paint by numbers set makes me a master painter, but still the sense of accomplishment and the boost to my self-esteem were alone worth the price of admission. Enthusiastic kudos to the person(s) who designed this kit and the workers who pre-drilled all the holes for me. When you think about the engineering skills that went into the design and prep of this kit you have to admit there is a fair amount of genius at play. No joking. If someone with my limited skills could put this thing together then someone on the production side deserves a medal at the very least, even as we might want to send the person who wrote the instructions to a refresher course. The smartly constructed cart looks good in my kitchen also, but it's use-value, though great, pales in comparison to the sense of pride I feel when I tell others "I assembled that!".

The cart looks like a piece of furniture and is complimentary to my kitchen. When the cart was delivered, the box was in bad shape and when I opened the box, the bag with the screws was torn open and screws were everywhere in the box. I was afraid the top had been scratched for all the loose screws. Thankfully, all the parts were in good shape. Putting it together was not too bad but the screws for the legs were a little short and gave us some problems. The instructions said to put the legs on the wooden top first but when we went to add the shelves, we had to force them in which scratched up the legs somewhat. The shelves should have gone on before the top. The drawers are nice and are really useful but I am concerned about the wooden top. I have put a runner on it to protect it and think that I will put glass or something on it to protect it from scratching. Overall I am pleased with the cart.

The kitchen trolley is just what I was looking for in a microwave cart. It is small but has ample storage and especially a shelf for cookbooks. It is perfect for the space provided. One small problem one of the pieces was not drilled with a screw set. We solved the problem by using wood filler and gorilla glue for that piece.

But I was really disappointed. It took forever to assemble because some of the holes in the (tiny!) drawer were not drilled correctly. Had to do a lot of extra work on something that would probably take about half an hour to assemble. The top shelf (wood) and the middle open shelf are built to actually take a little weight. But the bottom of the drawer and the inside shelf are very thin, and more like hard cardboard. There were also some gauges on one leg, but not enough to call it "damaged". Why am I keeping this cart instead of returning it? First, I hate the return/exchange process; secondly It is the exact size I need. I've ordered a lot of things from Overstock.com and am rarely disappointed. As I said, for the price, it looks great.

I am quite pleased with this cart. The wood top is easy to clean, the red is nice and cheery, and it adds lots of storage to my tiny kitchen. I love using the raised drop leaf when we need extra prep space! It took my husband and I 3-4 hours to assemble, and we're both handy people. Not difficult by any means, just lots of steps. The only downside is that the drawers are narrow but deep, so it took me a little while to figure out what to store in them. Overall, I am still very pleased with this purchase.

I was happy was quality of wood. Also right length. Word of caution the marble table top is pretty heavy. I was little frustrated with directions wasn't to clear bit after rereading several times, and using little common sense I was able to complete.

This product is solid wood and made in the US! I was pleasantly surprised to find such an excellent quality, real wood, made in the US, at a reasonable price. Assembly was very complex and I did have to call customer service for some help (so assemble it on a weekday between 9-5!). Customer service actually answered the phone and was very helpful. One of the doors doesn't stay as closed as I would like but it's still a great product.

There was some shipping damage, but repairable. Overall the product is well built with an easy-to-assemble design. But the attachment of the granite top should be stronger, so I added a brace. The drawers do not have rollers, but they seem to slide well for now. Perfect size and wood finish. The top of the utensil holder was difficult to align and had weak clip attachments that I decided to replace with my own brackets. If you want an assembly with no modifications, this is not the choice for you. The black granite top looks and feels great, but easily shows dust and fingerprints.
