This cart is absolutely perfect in my kitchen; very well made. Directions were not very clear, but reading reviews helped because people gave tips on putting shelves on correctly, etc.

I use the cart for my microwave. It is perfect height and works great. Would by from Overstock again.

I was amazed at how easy this was to put together. The wrench was missing but it went together with no issues. Love it.

This has potential for my needs. I need to beat up the block so that people tend more to use it as a work surface and not just use it to set things on. The bowed butcher block is kind of a drag. The block corners are a little dinged, but I plan to ah... "distress" it anyway so it gets used as a kitchen work surface.

I needed a little extra work area in my kitchen and this cart has exceeded my expectations. It is very sturdy, extremely easy to assemble and looks so nice in my kitchen. I love that it can easily be moved around and used for a variety of functions. It is well worth the price and I would highly recommend it to others.

This was originally purchased for our beach cabana to hold our toaster oven and to have some extra counter space. After my husband put it together we decided it's way to nice for the beach club and now it's in our kitchen. The quality is amazing and the butcher block top is a very high quality. My husband couldn't believe how little it cost for what it looks like. Really great piece, we may just order another one, especially for the price. Gorgeous!

I am using this Butcher Block Bin as an island in my kitchen. It's working very well. After getting this, I realized it could have been a little bigger. I really like the trash bin option. Over all I am very satisfied with what I purchased. I have bought other items from overstock also. So far I am satisfied with the products I have purchased.

I'm very pleased with the quality, design, and construction of the Catskill Craftsmen cart. The instructions were well written and illustrated. However, I was surprised, that it came with so many parts to put together. My husband couldn't handle it and we asked our grandson to do it-it took about 3 hours! I think it would be helpful to let the buyer know that it would take some time to put together and it wouldn't be that easy. Also, I assumed that I could use the butcher block top for cutting and preparing food. However, the instructions discourage this which is disappointing. All in all, I would recommend this product with the provisos indicated above.

Our island cart arrived well packaged. One of the drawer slides was a bit bent out of shape, however, but it was easy enough to unscrew it and straighten it and then reattach it. It took me almost 3 hours to assemble it, but it would have been less if I hadn't missed putting in the upper back piece in the proper order! Other than that, I found the instructions easy to follow. It only took two people when it came time to turn it into the upright position. The island looks like it was made to go with the white cabinets with butcher block counters in our kitchen. The cart feels very solid and the extra storage and counter space is a very welcome addition to our kitchen.

Nice kitchen cart, the butcher blocks are short pieces fingered together. One block area was a little dark, but couldn't complain for the money. Once together is it quite sturdy. The end pieces spice and towel rack take up 12" together, so the actual butcher block top is 43". You could leave them off and buy small plugs for the holes if you wanted. Perfect addition to add counter space in your kitchen.

This is my first Maple Butcher Block prep cart. I am amazed that it doesn't stain or scratch. I would buy this again.

I ordered this cart in lieu of a butcher's block, due to the difference in price. It is sturdy and serves the purpose well. A good value for the price.

For the money (and compared to carts costing twice as much), this is an excellent addition to small kitchens. Although it is not a very deep cart, the added counter space, shelves and drawers make it irreplaceable. The "butcher-block" look top contrasts nicely with the white finish elsewhere, and adds at least the feel of durability. Perhaps most usefully (in my case), the caster wheels roll easily - but, importantly, also lock in place when required - and therefore allows the cart to easily be moved out of the main kitchen area when not needed. Overall, very happy with the product!

Lovely little kitchen cart. Easy to put together, but a very sturdy unit. My kitchen is not large, so I love how nicely it tucks into whichever corner I wheel it. I also love the brakes on the casters (which are quite heavy duty!), as they make it easy to turn it into a mini prep island. The butcher block top is huge, as well. The wheels do make this cart taller than counter height, it's not an issue for me, but thought I'd mention it. Overall, a nice piece for any kitchen.

This is a really nice cart with a very thick maple butcher block top. I bought this cart to use in my crafting room where I need to clamp tools to a work surface. The nice deep edge on the top is great for this. Due to limited space I don't mind the lack of a handle and I have not had any issues because the casters don't lock. The thick maple top is really pretty and very heavy. The metal cart also appears well made. It arrived in perfect condition but didn't have any assembly instructions. Thankfully, I had just put together a different but similar type cart for my kitchen and had the instructions from that cart to follow. I had no trouble putting it together on my own and it looks and works great.

I've been eyeing this kitchen cart for a month now, and I finally bought it a few days ago. Already, it is assembled and in my "kitchen" area. I don't know why, but it took me four hours to assemble, and you'll need a power drill to attach the leaf to the main butcher block top. Just fyi. This cart is absolutely beautiful though, and definitely worth the time it takes to put it together. It matches my cabinets pretty well, which was a bonus I didn't even know about til this morning. Everything I have fits in it pretty snugly as well, whereas my other cart was cramped. If you're hesitating, stop! just buy it b/c you'll love it. :) Also, the shipment was extremely fast! I bought it on monday and it was here by thursday.

Matches our metal bakers rack very well. Fit appliances on racks below (microwave and toaster/convection oven) and the butcher block above is sturdy and looks nice. The wheels lock for stability and when unlocked it rolls easily for a mobile butcher blocker.

The cart arrived after 7 business days via UPS. There was a little dent on the butcher block but it isn't that noticeable and I figure the block will get dented with use anyhow. The mechanism to secure and level the shelves seems pretty iffy to me. It was difficult to level the shelves because it's a sliding type deal that doesn't "lock" into place and each of the 4 corners of the shelves have to slide to the same height. It would definitely be easier with 2 people working on it! I still don't have the shelves exactly level but I've given up for now. Otherwise, the cart looks nice, the butcher block seems pretty solid, and the cart rolls very smoothly.

This cart was just what my kitchen needed. Two pull-out drawers, two door-covered cabinets, and a central space with three shelves, not to mention the towel rack, spice rack, and faux butcher block counter space. A win-win! Its assembled appearance is exactly as pictured on overstock.com. Big note on assembly: It took two women three hours to assemble this, partly because one of the screws arrived stripped (we finally left it off and it still holds up well without it) and partly because I had a really junky ratcheting screwdriver to assemble it. When we finally finished, we realized the (pictoral only) instructions totally skipped a step: adding the slide-in back panel. I wasn't up for taking the whole darn thing apart again to add it, so I left it off. Luckily, keeping the cart against a wall hides my shame, but I highly recommend keeping your eye open for an opportunity to slide in that back piece, even if never instructed to : )
