    True to picture. Having the handle thing in the middle limits the space as you have to fit your greens around it. You really have to hold the top down as you spin it. I had an OXO one for ten years plus that was awesome, pump action attached to the top cover which gives more space and is easier to use. This Kitchen Aid one does the job, but I wouldn't buy it again.
