Customer Reviews
Nice product for the price range. Looks good in rooms with crown molding. It must be secured to the wall to prevent tipping forward. The screws provided for this were too short so I had to purchase some longer ones at the hardware store.
I just put this product last night. I didn't find it particularly hard to put together, the diagrams and instructions were pretty clear. The crown molding looks especially nice. The unit feels pretty solid now that it's together. I have some minor quibbles about the workmanship. First, if you need to remove the screws holding the backing on (as I did because I put it on the wrong way at first), the pressboard material will not support screwing it back in again, the holes will be stripped. This is not of major consequence because it's only the backing and not something structural. The other complaint is that the cam screws do not have an indication of how far to screw them in. In other similar products I've put together before, there's a defined stopping point on how far to screw them in. Consequently, I screwed several in too far, and then actually broke the cam bolts when I tried to turn and secure them. I bought more cam bolts at a hardware store but they are not the same thickness so they protrude. I was unable to find the same thickness cam bolts sold near me. Still, the ones I purchased worked fine, they just stick out of the hole a bit. Lastly, the doors hang a bit crooked and there really is no way to adjust them because the hinges screw in at pre-drilled points. All that said, I am mostly pleased with my purchase and think it's a decent value.
This item was an excellent purchase. I have been looking for months for a practical but decent looking storage option for my guest bath and here it was......Great quality for the same price as a big box poor quality item. I am extremely pleased with the unit and it makes a great addition to my bath without looking cheesy. Go for it!!!!
I have a very small bathroom with only a towel bar and no extra space, so I needed something for storage of basic items. After purchasing something larger and returning it, I decided on this item. It fits perfectly around the toilet tank (old standard style) and is only as wide as the tank lid so it does not make the bathroom look any smaller. The one I returned was sturdier but made the bathroom feel closed-in. In general, I don't like space savers, but I didn't have a choice in this case and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.
