I luv the added length so that I can actually stand with the water falling on my head rather than have it spray into my face from a shorter arm. I am so glad I bought this.
I ordered this for my new extra large rainfall shower head but was unable to use this pipe. It would work splendly only if you have a very tall hookup. This pipe comes straight out from the wall then curved down 2-1/2 inches plus you lose the hight of your shower head. So in my case the water release from my shower head 6-1/2 inches below the water connector at the wall so it was too low to stand under. Again this would work wonderfully IF your water input at the wall is located pretty high on your wall or your family is short in stature. Unfortunately, by the time we got a plumber here & discovered it wouldn't work it was too late to return the item.
