must have tall hookups
I ordered this for my new extra large rainfall shower head but was unable to use this pipe. It would work splendly only if you have a very tall hookup. This pipe comes straight out from the wall then curved down 2-1/2 inches plus you lose the hight of your shower head. So in my case the water release from my shower head 6-1/2 inches below the water connector at the wall so it was too low to stand under. Again this would work wonderfully IF your water input at the wall is located pretty high on your wall or your family is short in stature. Unfortunately, by the time we got a plumber here & discovered it wouldn't work it was too late to return the item.

great value
We put this shower head arm up in a newly remodeled bathroom. Works great, extended the shower head, which is a rainhead purchased from Overstock, and it works perfectly. Be careful when installing it, as it scratches very easily.

shower arm
This is just the product I was looking for to use with my new shower head,(also ordered from Overstock - the fortress 100 hole shower head - which came with a extender that I wanted to eliminate) I was worried that I would have to use the one that was shipped with the shower head but it was a standard size and was easy to install myself. It turned the shower head into a rainfall shower which was the look I was going for!! Also it was great that the extender was a TRUE Brushed Nickel!!!
