Ok, here's great problem to have - this mattress pad has made it impossible for me to read a book in bed! As soon as I climb in bed I, I just have the urge to snuggle down to the wonderful, soft surface this pad creates on my mattress. It does not reduce the support of my firm mattress, but takes the edge off the firmness and takes off the pressure points. It's just fabulous! I sleep really well with this pad. I bought one for my parents and one for my inlaws, too!
We have a old Select Comfort mattress topped with a 1 1/2" memory foam pad. The pad added a new level of contouring that the original air bed didn't. (It didn't have a lot of quilted topping like the new ones) However, there was enough mass to the foam that it actually drew heat from your body until you got a "nest" warmed in winter and it felt clammy in summer. This wool topper resolved both issues and it led to less of a "nest" formation that is more comfortable, too.
This is a wonderful find! So glad it is USA made! It is indeed cool in the summer and I plan on being snug in the winter. Fits perfectly,came quickly and was well packaged. I did call the manufactuer to get more details on how to care for and wash this mattress pad. They were very happy to get my call. The quality is excellent and the price is the best I could find! Hope many others will buy it!
Husband and wife of thirty five years have been sleeping on this pad for over two weeks now and simply love it. Wife loved it from the first night but husband took a day or two. He thought it might be too warm for this hot and muggy climate in mid mississippi but by the second night liked the slight warmth. It eliminates pressure points and firms up the mattress (a premium euro-top). We both can't wait until cooler weather when we can snuggle down and really sleep. We both think its the ideal mattress pad and well worth the price. After all, a good night's sleep is almost priceless.
I liked that this product is supporting an American mill with an American industry like the sheep industry in our own country. The quality is excellent and covers my King size bed with no struggle, fits perfect over the entire top of the mattress and the skirt is real cloth with deep pockets and elastic all the way around for a perfect fit. The fleece is thick, clean, and wonderful to sleep on with no pressure points.Excellent buy, half of what others are offering and as usual delivered in record time. Thanks Overstock for another great buy!!
