my 11 year old wanted a white room. we bought her this chair for her reading corner and she loves it. she's about 5'2", 116lbs and is really comfortable curling up in her chair. i'm around 180lbs and to me the chair is kind of shaky. i think i put it together the right way, but to me it feels like it might topple over off of the pedestal at any moment. my only other gripe is that the leather seems to be really thin. overall i like the chair. it is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and very soft. arrived in a couple of days and was in good condition.
