I purchased this for steaming clams on the Bay and Beach. The stove cranks more then I ever expected and has been a great fit for beach parties. The gauge is not the easiest to see and could be more user friendly. The wind gaurd is helpful but on the beach you need even more to block the wind. But over all, the power of this stove is very good. Assembly was easy and I bought a storage bin at Home Depot that fits it perfect. Detachable legs were one of the reasons I actually purchased it.     I have used this stove twice to do outdoor canning. A large capacity pot of water came to boil in about 15 to 20 minutes. I did find that the burner knobs tended to re-adjust themselves and not stay at the desired flame. Overall, a very good, portable stove for outdoor cooking.
