nickiebee4610 from Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Rating:4.0I bought this set for my grandson who is 8 years old as he had outgrown the previous set. It is perfect for an 8 year old and even older. It is large and heavy and does not tip over at all. The only problem was that some screws were missing to assemble the table. I went to a local hardware store and managed to get something to fit because I had a handyman here working and I wanted the set assembled right then and there. I did contact Overstock and they immediately sent me the missing screws however it cost $10 at the hardware store for the screws I bought. So now I have two sets of screws for the table. Oh well. Also I would like to say that a friend who has two small children stopped by and saw the table and chair set and was really impressed and wanted to know where I got it. She may buy the same thing.

csnoey77 from Driggs, ID, Rating:5.0I really like this set. Most kids tables are cheap and don't match our furniture. I wanted something near the dining room that would look nice and my son loves to sit and eat at the table now. He gets restless at the big table so this little addition helps a lot! The color matches all of our dark/espresso type color wood.

ddcorry from PA, Rating:5.0So far, this is a great set. Although not recommended, a female adult can sit on chair. Already enjoyed by children under the age of 7.

seahappy from San Diego, CA, Rating:4.0This table is great! I have a 8 and 5 year old, and this table is perfect for them. I had been looking and looking for a table that would be a great fit for their room without a big bulky chair - so when I saw this, I had to have it. My husband thinks it is Ikea like in the sense of the wood material. However, I gave it a "good" review because of the price. Very over priced. But so unique that I paid it anyway. I put it together myself in about 20 - 25 minutes while my 5 year old did her homework. Not hard at all. I was excited to put it together! A few nic's in the wood, but mainly in the edge of the benches. I hope to use it for years and years to come.
