I put this together myself in about 40 minutes. It was super easy. There was one screw or screw hole that is stripped, but I just wrapped some good old duck tape around the screw and it tightened right up. I needed something to get the toys off the floor of my playroom / bedroom that I have made up for my grandchildren. You know the farms, castles, doll houses that are too big for the toy box...and finally somewhere to put all the wooden puzzles! I like it so much I have just ordered another one, and after seeing it my daughter got on line and ordered one too. So we are very happy with the shelves.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS TOYBOX! We have serious storage issues in our house and we needed a toy box for my newborn son's room in order to store plush toys and board books. Obviously I also want it to be something he'll grow into. The product looks great and was easy to assemble. The safety hinge works very well and the toy box is very sturdy since it is solid wood. I am beyond pleased with this purchase.

I uses this toy box to store my extra quilts in. It has a place on the top to sit and instead of making a cushion seat, I use my quilts on top covered with a nice fabric to sit on. Very nice piece of furniture.

I had high hopes for this shelf and was sadly disappointed. Half of the screws were missing and the ones that were there were of horrible quality and snapped in half. Holes were not aligned properly. Turnrd out to be quite rickety and unstable. Not happy with this shelf but used wood glue and bought good screws, that makes it a little better. Not worth the price.

I purchased this item based on the price. That might have been a mistake. It's a "Sauders" product, the type you might find in Staples or WalMart. It wasn't difficult to put together, but the fact that it's pressed wood makes it unusually heavy for its size and a pain to move around when you vacuum.

This nightstand was a nightmare to assemble. Next time I would rather spend the extra money for a quality piece that didn't take so much work. The parts didn't ever quite fit together and some of the screws broke while assembling pieces together. It seems the pieces were all cut on a machine that was perhaps slightly off from one piece to the next because fitting some of them inside the pre-made grooves was next to impossible. Pieces on the bottom aren't quite snug so they move around if you bump the nightstand. Drawer is particularly painful to assemble and it doesn't quite fit the way it seems it should. Once it's assembled, it looks ok, aside from the wood glue trails we have since we had to use that to keep the thing together!

There is really nothing good I can say about this shelf. I bought the pink 4-tier version and I very much regret it. The screws do not stay in, so we had to buy bigger screws just to get the shelves to stay together. The only part of the shelf where the included screws actually stayed in is the top where it mounts to the wall, and even though we were using the screws they gave us, both pieces of wood split in several places. Also, this shelf is not white. It is soooo not white that if you have white furniture or accents in the room, this shelf will just look dingy. Plus, it is tiny, although, I'm sure the measurements are on here, so my review isn't even based on that. This is pretty inexpensive, but still way overpriced for such poor quality.

This toy box perfectly matches my grandson's espresso bedroom set. I didn't want a toy chest that was too "babyish" and I think he'll be able to use this for a long time. Assembly was easy, my husband and I built it in 1/2 an hour. It is sturdy enough and the quality is decent, certainly better than I expected for the price I paid. I like that the front of the box is lower so that little fingers can't get smashed, and was pleased to find that there were handholds cut into the sides to be able to pick it up and move it if necessary. We did have a little issue with the lid not quite touching in the front, and it seems to be because of the design. We just put a little stick on felt pad on each front corner of the lid and it solved the problem. My only complaint is that the screw heads are exposed on both sides. It's not a big deal because they are on the side, but it would have been nice if they had included wooden plugs to cover them. To dress it up a little, I've ordered a little brass plate with his name on it. I think he'll get years of use out of it.

Nice toybox. Easy to put together. Solid wood top and sides but particle board bottom. Lid doesn't quite shut all the way and the holes didn't properly align. Still a nice product.

My son (3) and my niece (2) love this storage bench. My mother bought it for her play room. We were even surprised to have the problem of my nephew (7) playing with it. The bench begs to be played with and children gravitate to like bees to honey. It's a handsome piece of furniture, but when it says use a hand held screwdriver... please do so. You can crack the wood if you use a power screwdriver.

This bookcase is sturdy and handsome, and came well-packaged. No assembly required, unless you'd like to hide the screws with the little wooden wedges that were included. Otherwise, just fold out and use. The wood grain and stain (I purchased the Espresso) was less pretty than a similar folding bookcase I had previously purchased from The Container Store. However, this bookshelf, being a bit narrower than a standard bookshelf, perfectly fit the space I had for it. The listed dimensions are accurate. I am very happy with this purchase.

Easy to put together, and looks beautiful in my living room. Throughout the day I have baby toys everywhere. It makes it so easy to just clean them up and put them in there when you need the house to look presentable. Looks like the mess never happened. The wood is a little thin, but it's real wood and I think what we got was great for the price. If you are looking for the real heavy, thick toy chest you will probably end up paying a good $300-400. But this does the job I need it to and like I said it looks great.

Perfect for my daughter's room. Much nicer than the cheaper ones. Highter quality wood. Has held toghether very well. Has handled 2 years of constant use by 2 girls, now 3 and 6 years old. No smashed fingers either! The lid closes slowly.

I was pleasantly surprised that the horizontal bars are metal (they look like wood in the photo) so this item is strong and fairly sturdy due to that. It has been a nice addition to our toy storage. The plastic bins are high quality but their newness in our house has made our daughter want to empty them and play with them. They can withstand 26 pounds of weight walking on them upside down FYI. It comes with wall brackets but it does not explain how to install them when the plastic bins jut out in the back enough to prevent you bracketing the thing flush with a wall. I have not tried to use them but I am assuming the design allows the wall brackets to put a few inches distance between the solid sides and the wall, so there will still be room for the plastic bins at the back.

We are retired with some physical disabilities but we were able to put this bookcase together. Directions were easy to understand, minimal mechanical ability required (use screwdriver). Quality of "wood" better than most we have seen.

I purchased this shelf for my new little girl's nursery. The furniture in the nursery is an ivory color and I was worried that the shelf wouldn't look right with it, but it turned out perfectly. The ivory/off-white color matches my furniture exactly and the pink (which is a little off when compared to the typical "pink" color usually used in toys and children's bedding) matches some of the pink on my "baby blocks" rug. The shelf is darling and petite enough to fit in my nursery without being overwhelming (as there is already a changing table/dresser, rocker/recliner, crib and door chest in the room). The shelves are more narrow than typically seen with leaning bookcases, but understandable as it is a child's shelf. I was able to put it together myself and then carry it upstairs to the nursery. I had all the hardware, but I did have a screw break (half is still in the shelf) when I was attaching the top shelf to the pink leg. I'm not worried about its stability with the broken screw as I used the wood glue and it seems pretty stable. Only one thing really bothers me about the shelf - you can see all the screw holes/screws and they were not all visible in the pictures.

Though solid, it sits kind of weird because of its construction. But it looks nice and will look even better once we purchase a padded top for it.

I was very pleased with this product! All parts were easy to assemble and no damages were to the item. My son will be two in August, and it's perfect for his height. The wood glue that came in the package was dried. Good thing I had some in my drawers! The assembly on the last step was a little tricky but I was able to figure it out.

We have had this book case for about 6 months now and it does the trick. It is a nice color. It had several flaws in the wood when we got it, but I had already unpacked the box and taken everything out, so the thought of mailing it all back was very unpleasant and we just kept it. It looks great. It stores a lot of books. It's pretty sturdy. It also comes with a nice strap and screw kit to attach it to the wall.

This toy box looks exactly like the picture and is heavy duty, solid, beautiful wood. It took about 30 minutes to put together --much less, without the *help* of my 14-month-old. It's very sturdy, holds all of the toys that had escaped all over the house, and my son can reach in and get what he needs. He even climbed in to stomp around and then sat on the top. The hinges are perfect in that they stop in whatever position the child leaves the lid in, so no slamming down or slowly falling on them. There is also an indention in the front of the box so that if the lid comes down, little fingers will not be in danger of getting pinched. I'm so so pleased with this purchase --and there were no reviews when I ordered it, so I was taking a leap of faith. So glad that I did!

Nightstand was solid wood. However it would have been more attractive if it was about two or three inches taller.
